Since all the way back in 1905, that iconic sash has been a staple on the jersey of this club from Canada—the oldest club in the entire region. For those who might not be aware of the history, they actually competed in the American Major Leagues back between 1941 and 1944, before things were strictly prohibited from 1945 until 1992.
It’s a point of pride for Americans in our neck of the woods—Canada—and honestly, I think it's a beautiful jersey!
I know most people immediately think of teams like Peru's national side, River Plate, or maybe even Rayo Vallecano, but we have our own club with that classic sash too!
