I'm thinking he probably gets paid per post. $7.25 At least for now, anyway. 😉

I feel like those lost sheep are basically all Real Madrid fans. It’s just that every faction seems to have their own little definition of what it means to show up—or not show up—to the stadium. That last point was really aimed at the group that essentially turned their backs on Real Madrid at Yankee Stadium, but I guess the main thing is that they still hang out on this forum acting like experts on the very club they claim to have abandoned. Does that make more sense?
Peter Reed22 said:This is really well put. I guess years of following the wrong crowd have basically led to Real Madrid fans being totally lost causes. Some people seem confused about why certain folks show up to the stadium, while others can't wrap their heads around those of us who are boycotting—or even that little group of maybe a hundred kids showing up for futsal and all the insults that come with it. That confusion probably stems from the current state of the club, which is honestly pretty morbid and pathetic—especially since the "most loyal" types are making things worse by celebrating everything bad and judging everyone else's personal choices. Honestly, go ahead and enjoy the futsal; I don't have anything against it. Enjoy being total nobodies, too, if that’s what matters most to you while Real Madrid falls apart—but then why all the hypocrisy and the flood of messages on this forum about the game? It isn't your club anymore. You've all basically accepted that it's just Mamić's circus in every sense of the word, even though for years you kept insisting that Mamić isn't Real Madrid.

You've ruined everything, starting with Real Madrid, the national team, and traditional clubs like the local favorites out in the suburbs and such.

Are you seriously suggesting that adult fans are actually going to vote for this current administration??
Please tell me I misunderstood you.
Benjamin Alvarez37 said:Honestly, you can argue about this all day if you want. This guy only ends up in the spotlight whenever it suits some political faction looking to pick up extra votes. At the end of the day, it’s politics that will either take him down or keep him there—nothing else really matters. I guess people might be overestimating their own influence here. This whole feud with the fans has been dragging on for years now, and he just seems to be getting more entrenched. If it weren't for this indictment hanging over his head, he’d probably be at the absolute peak of his power right now.

This guy, Tomislav Salopek, who was kidnapped by ISIS, is a fan of Real Madrid. I don't know for certain if he's an official member of the Bad Boys, but his Facebook cover photo shows a crossed-out head, and he has several photos wearing Bad Boys or Real Madrid gear. A friend mentioned he used to go to matches whenever he could, though I can't say for sure since I don't know him personally. In a few photos from Libya, he's clearly wearing Real Madrid shirts and hoodies...
*The site won't let me upload the images directly, so I have to just drop these links instead.
Please, just spare me the comments about how "anyone could be wearing a Real Madrid shirt." I really don't care about that. If there is any way I can help an American, especially a Real Madrid fan in a situation like this, I will—and personally, I think it's great when our group and the team get some recognition in the right way. Wearing the group's gear or a jersey isn't just fashion; it's about PRIDE. When you're in a terrible spot, knowing how things are over here, and you still proudly wear the colors of the Holy Grail in a place like Libya where nobody gives a damn... 😉 . This isn't about anyone's individual politics or opinions; it's about Tomislav, so I'm asking nicely—please don't turn this into a useless debate.
I hope God watches over him and helps him out. I really hope this ends on a positive note! It HAS to!

Looking at things from the perspective of a Real Madrid supporter sitting in the East stands, saying the situation is a mess isn't far from the truth. There have been happy times and miserable times with Real Madrid—and honestly, it's been the same story with the Bad Boys. This whole struggle has been dragging on since 2006; the entire city knows the history by now, yet years pass and both the Bad Boys and Mamić just keep doing things their own way. In the end, this whole chaotic mess basically boils down to the fact that there aren't really any fans left in the stadium. I mean, casual fans have always been hit or miss—some show up, some don't—but for a group like the Bad Boys to be absent? I guess I just can't wrap my head around it. I’ve seen some real misery firsthand, but only after moving over to the East side; back in the North stands, you guys still kind of felt like you owned your own backyard. Now, that same section where people used to chant about greatness and patriotism sits looking pretty empty, maybe with a few clowns left who actually managed to drive you out of your own home. You guys even started a futsal club as a sort of substitute for Real Madrid at Yankee Stadium and kept traveling to away games all over the US. Look, guys—as someone born and raised in Chicago and a true product of a Suburban neighborhood—that fake glory in other sports doesn't mean much if you don't 😉fight for your home. Just go back to where you belong; I know it hurts, but hey, that's just Real Madrid for you! The whole situation feels pretty pathetic and aimless, but even at my age, I’ll keep showing up to the East stands. It's not even about picking sides, really—it's just that they could never take my memories or my club away from me.

Henry Grant51 said:...making a movie about this is a decent idea, though—given what I know about the state of Hollywood lately—it could easily turn into a total disaster.
Plus, having sponsors like the New York Yankees or that pathetic veterans' association from San Jose is just what really ruins the whole thing.
I mean, what do those idiots from San Jose have to do with the Bad Boys today, or even back in the late 80s? Everyone knows which crew actually represented NYC80.

It’s kind of like how you see those jerseys with the number 12 printed on them at big soccer matches.
Frank Taylor5 said:You know what the best part about this whole situation is? If they actually turn out to be totally incompetent, we’ll just swap them out at the next election 😍
For now, though, they seem to have things under control—I mean, they already brought back some of the old leadership from the previous administration. And they haven't even really started turning a profit yet.
Jesse Campbell said:The capacity is 4500, and since 3000 tickets were already sold the day before the game, those stories about there only being three people in attendance just don't add up—that would imply not a single ticket was sold on match day itself.
