Jesse Campbell said:This should probably happen sometime this month—it almost doesn't matter who happens to be running the Department of Defense right now. The law itself is pretty straightforward, really. Of course, in America, people find ways to bend the rules. It's unfortunate. And now there's this new legislation regarding associations coming up. It’s pretty obvious that things at Dinamo aren't being decided democratically, which I suppose is one way they manage to keep winning. They need to make it so everyone gets a say based on a one-member, one-vote principle.
Not that there aren't other ways to handle this, though. At the end of the day, the only thing that truly matters is that the idea of Dinamo survives all of this. During that last game where you had maybe 400 people in the West Stand—and honestly, the atmosphere felt more like a concentration camp than a stadium—I was convinced that Dinamo was finished. But then, we saw this sudden turnaround in the form of a petition, and the sheer momentum and energy it sparked was just incredible.
The response suggests there’s still hope for our club, and that it might actually outlast its current autocrat. Plus, the total number of signatures will serve as a solid argument that this isn't just some demand from a small group of hooligans. That's what really gets under their skin.
And if they don't like the way the law looks, they can just push through amendments in America within 24 hours without any real public debate (I mean, they put a link on a website and let you type a comment, but calling that a "public debate" is a stretch). 🙄
I'm just hoping that in those "brilliant" political minds of theirs, things line up like this: massive response equals public outcry, which equals votes (since they clearly lack the willpower to deal with the evil for the right reasons).
Good luck, guys—you definitely have my signature.
