The Intel Core i7 doesn't let you mess with the multiplier!

You have to bump up the FSB instead. Try jumping from 200 to 250, though you'll probably need to dial back the memory speed since it won't be able to keep up with that kind of jump.

I’m not going to admit I’m using a knockoff—who knows who’s actually lurking here anyway! 😁

Carl Brown4 said:A new format is on the horizon, bundling MPEG-4 video and audio together. Right now, we've got two heavyweights fighting it out: Sony Blu-ray and Toshiba HD-DVD. Both have their pros and cons, obviously. But it looks like both sides finally decided to play nice and propose a unified standard. Whatever comes after the DVD, expect MPEG-4 to be the go-to for video and audio.

To add my two cents: an agreement is basically in the works for this new disc, moving toward one single standard!
As of right now, the only official High Definition movie format for this new tech is Windows Media Video 9 (MPEG-4)!

Nice job with all these cracking tools.

I personally stick with DVD Shrink and Nero.

Whenever the picture or audio stutters during playback, is the issue the player, the disc itself, the burner, or just the software used to burn it? Any recommendations?

1. A Pioneer drive.

2. Honestly, it could be any of those things. I need more specifics to give you a real answer. For example, does it skip on every single disc? How does it handle DivX format? Is it using Dma moda?
Just finished a fresh test on some DVD media—honestly, TDK is pretty underwhelming.
They might be the kings of CDs, but 👍

So... what actually happened?

That miracle worked flawlessly for a few weeks, and then everything went to hell.😁 😳

Hey, what can you do? You live and you learn.😎

Though from what I've gathered, some people think it's pure gold while others think it's basically Windows ME.😁
James Morris7 said:Since you brought up Ghost, is it actually reliable? What's the actual process? Like, I make an image of my partition when it's clean, and then if things go south, I just restore it from a CD? Is it a headache? I've never actually done this before, so I'm flying blind here.

It’s reliable and dead simple. The software basically holds your hand through the whole thing—it just asks which partition you want to save, where to put it, and how much compression you want.
I usually just save the image to my D: drive and whip up a boot floppy so I can run Ghost if Windows refuses to start. Easy as that.
I’d suggest using Ghost to make an image of your partition right after a clean install. At least then you can roll the system back in minutes instead of dealing with a massive headache!
Honestly, those issues of yours smell more like hardware incompatibility than driver problems to me.
For what it's worth, SP2 drove me absolutely insane with all the system crashes; I finally kicked it to the curb after three weeks. SP1 runs like a dream.

Despite all the glitches, I guess IE is still king. People just can't let go!
I haven't really messed around with Mozilla yet. Opera is decent, but the look is just too dull for me—I need something with a little more color. 😁
The only thing worth watching in Titanic is Monica Bellucci (not sure if I spelled that right, my bad)🙂
