BTW, that girl in the picture isn't from Shutter. That's the one from The Grudge 2—you know, that scene in the workshop. (🙂)

Let me know what you think.🙂

I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews for this movie, but the comments are pretty unsettling since everyone seems completely rattled after watching it. Makes me wonder if it's actually that terrifying.

I live for thrillers and horror, but if the hype is real, I'm not sure it's a smart move for me. My imagination tends to run wild whenever I'm home alone in the dark.🙂

It sounds exactly like my old situation—your friend's symptoms are basically a carbon copy of mine.
Has she actually seen a specialist yet?😕

Best,

She hasn't seen a doctor because (I get it) she’s totally freaked out by the idea. It's embarrassing and scary for her.
I told her she needs to go, but she’s still working up the nerve. I asked her
if she's noticed any blood lately, and she said it only happens when
things get hard or if she misses a day or two. That's when the lump swells up and starts stinging.

Honestly, it's a total nightmare.👎

Those are anal fissures. Basically, hard stools or straining causes the lining to tear, leaving nerves exposed. When you go, those nerves get hit directly, and it’s a sharp, stabbing pain.
Creams helped me a little bit, but you have to apply them right before you go so there’s enough coverage, otherwise they don't last if things are moving fast.
Thank God, I have to admit, Pilex completely solved my problem. I only took a few capsules orally, so I have to say it’s my number one recommendation.👍 🙏 👍
Also, with Pilex, hemorrhoids should clear up for a long time or at least shrink drastically. They happen because of increased anorectal pressure, which Pilex reduces for most people until the hemorrhoids actually recede.
Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I passed along what you said, but I don't think it's quite the same situation. For her, the pain happened even when she wasn't having a bowel movement—just out of nowhere.

When she did go, she’d feel that stinging or sharp cutting sensation, but this specific pain she mentioned supposedly hit while she was just sitting there watching TV. It’s only happened maybe 4 or 5 times in the last six years, but it did happen... so I figured I'd see if anyone else had similar stories.🙄

Honestly, I don't know anymore. People just have to put up with so much crap these days.👎

Look, a friend asked me about hemorrhoids the other day. I’m obviously no doctor, so I couldn't give her a straight answer, but it seems like you guys have seen it all.

Basically, she's dealt with these two little bumps near her anus for years. They swell up pretty significantly whenever she deals with hard stools.
A few years back, she was seeing blood in her stool, but then she used some cream and that mostly stopped—maybe once every year or two now.
After a hard bowel movement, she gets this stinging sensation, but otherwise, nothing happens except the swelling coming and going depending on her digestion.
The bumps are always there, though.

Now, here's the thing... she's getting a bit worried because she occasionally gets this sharp, cutting pain in that area. It's rare, but when it hits, it's intense. It usually just lasts for a few seconds and comes in waves.
Has anyone else here dealt with pain like that?

Thanks😘
Most of the time, if I take a nap after work, I wake up after just a few minutes feeling like my blood is literally boiling in my veins. My heart starts racing—I can really feel it pounding—and I get this overwhelming sensation that I’m about to start shaking. Then, the second I actually move, it all settles down.

It only happens during those short little naps mid-day.
I had a checkup at the Mayo Clinic and everything came back fine. They told me years ago I had some tachycardia, but they said it was pretty standard, and then last year they told me everything was perfectly normal.

As for what triggers it? God only knows.
