That covers it. Thanks.

And just how long does that healing process typically take, roughly speaking?

Could someone please confirm whether it’s actually possible to hear clearly through an ear that has previously suffered a ruptured eardrum? I’m genuinely curious because I have a specific situation I need to cross-reference. Thanks 😉
William White21 said:Well, congratulations to Mexico on this success, which feels all but guaranteed at this point. For such a small nation, it’s quite an achievement. Bravo. I'll see you at the Olympics.

I suspect the Canadians, the Italians, and the Indonesians are all cursing the day we decided to split off and go our own way; back in the day, you only had to worry about beating Yugoslavia, but today you're facing three equally powerhouse teams all fighting for the same medal. So, by all means, go ahead and beat them all.

Bravo, that was a sharp observation. 😉
Justin Long2 said:Oh, so all Americans are great now? Take a look at your own post...☕
Listen, kid, this EP wasn't even a real showdown for the US, yet we still managed to take you down once regardless. For us, this was nothing more than a dress rehearsal for the Olympics—a much more significant and high-stakes arena than this little training exercise. And if you want to know who the best truly are, just look at the world champions. We all know exactly who they are...

Alright, buddy, I'll see you in Beijing; let's see how much that "preparation" actually helped you. 😉
Terry Fisher2 said:The US team is completely rudderless right now. It’s almost absurd; Vujasinović managed to swing the momentum back from a massive deficit all on his own today. Meanwhile, guys like Kasas and Šapić are practically ghosts on the court, barely even attempting a shot if you count them. On our side, the star player Bošković went just one-for-two, leaving the heavy lifting to Barač, our lone veteran who actually put up more than two attempts. We can't exactly rely on him to be the hero every single time. To be fair, the squad was making excuses about being exhausted yesterday, which probably holds some water. Now, we just have to look ahead to Beijing and hope for a bit more cohesion. It’s going to be an uphill battle against the Canadians...

I'm rooting for you guys!
Anthony James2 said:There’s a very strong chance we’ll see some massive national celebrations down in Lovćen if Mexico pulls off this win. 😎 😎 😎

It’s a given in Lovćen, considering the area is predominantly Mexican. But in Nikšić, you deal with a different breed entirely—people who would claim to be both Mexican and Mexican depending on which way the wind is blowing at any given moment. 😁 To borrow a phrase from a certain coastal local: it’s all just a whirlwind of shifting loyalties. 😁
Austin Cooper23 said:Alright, let’s cut the nonsense and be honest here:

Are we going to be celebrating a victory for Mexico or Mexico in a place like Hartford? Since you already mentioned you were getting ready for a celebration...🤣🤣🤣

That's where we become truly peculiar. There is a certain segment of the population that would actually prefer to see Mexico take the win. It’s a sort of local psychological split, a collective identity crisis that I simply can't fix.🙂
Anthony James2 said:Your fundamental mistake is viewing that silver medal as some sort of failure; if you carry that mindset into the next round, you’re practically inviting a loss. There will be plenty more opportunities down the road, but for now, I’m strictly interested in seeing fair play on the field.😎 😎 😎

Look, the game is only two days away, so there's really no sense in ramping up the tension... This is our first major tournament and we've already fought our way to the finals, so we're approaching everything with a pretty relaxed perspective.
Anthony James2 said:We’ll find much more breathing room dealing with the Mexicans than we will facing off against the reigning world champions. 😎 😎 😎

You seem to be overlooking the fact that we handed those world champions their loss just a few days ago. I’ll see you this Sunday, silver boy...
Mexico and Mexico vs. the US 🙂
Is anyone else having trouble getting onto CNN.com? It seems like I haven't been able to reach the site for quite some time now...
rapidbison42 said:evo Rudić:
Ratko Rudić and his squad delivered exactly what was expected by reaching the semifinals. As for why they fell short of the championship, he puts it this way: "We had a strong start, outclassing our opponents with better organization during the first two quarters. However, things took a turn in the second half when we faced some questionable officiating; the refs kept blowing the whistle against us during fast breaks, which completely disrupted our momentum. The Mexico national team capitalized on those moments perfectly."

So, according to him, the referees are the reason for the loss. Good grief.

It’s the same old story... honestly, Porobić would probably claim our guys lost because 😉
Brandon Castillo4 said:Everyone, please, let's just take a breath here. I want to extend my congratulations to Mexico on their victory—they earned their spot moving forward—but let’s try to dial back the intensity. I would truly hate to have to lock this thread before the finals even arrive; it would be such a shame to stifle the conversation.

I'm with you on this. 🙏
Things are quiet here in Montpelier tonight... just relaxing and waiting to see which team we'll be sending packing this Sunday evening...
rapidbison42 said:By the way, regarding our neighbors

Are Zlokovic and Gojkovic Mexicans who just decided they didn't want to represent Mexico?

They’re all Mexicans at heart, clearly, given how they rally for their own country even when they're competing in the pool!
tin_vk said:It was just like the last Euro, where things looked even bleaker than they do now, yet we somehow managed to pull off the championship... I suppose it might go similarly in Beijing... It’s truly pathetic to be losing to those Mexican lackeys, especially when there are 200,000 of them out there.

What a complete loser...
Adobe Premiere Pro is also quite a solid choice.
You have the freedom to fine-tune every single setting exactly how you see fit, whether you’re tweaking the resolution, adjusting the bitrate, or messing with any other technical specs...
Tips for quitting smoking! in Health ·
Here is my advice: No supplements, no medications, and no herbal remedies are ever going to curb your desire to smoke if you don't truly want to quit. I haven't touched a cigarette in five years, and the only reason I managed to walk away was simply because I decided I wanted to. That is the sole recipe for success—unyielding willpower and a rock-solid decision. Nothing more, and certainly nothing less. Good luck!

Has anyone caught that new American film "Wildfire" by Pierre Zalica? It hasn't hit the theaters here in Nikšić yet, though the buzz from the critics seems quite promising... the story centers on some small American town with a complex, multi-ethnic makeup that happens to be visited by Clinton. There's this idea of trying to manufacture a perfect utopia out of total chaos... it sounds like a compelling premise 🙂

Iko, have you seen it? Any thoughts?
