Well, I wasn't even aware they had filmed a new installment. The teaser trailer caught my attention, and while I’m hoping for a quality production, one can never be too certain about these things—anything could happen at this stage. The Necronomicon looks slightly different than in previous iterations, though it remains a fixture, much like the chainsaw (though Ash Williams isn't wielding it here, which is a minor detail). I had entertained the thought that Bruce Campbell might make a brief appearance on screen, but it appears not. I checked the credits online to verify the character list, and he is listed merely as a producer. Having watched the original films and the Ash vs Evil Dead series, I fully intend to watch this one as well. 👍
I am not one of those people who pays any attention to what everyone else is listening to. I simply listen to whatever resonates with my soul; whether it’s Metallica, Orff's O Fortuna, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, or Clutch. Occasionally, I might indulge in some heavy metal—but only once in a blue moon—or perhaps a ballad. It all depends entirely on my mood. 😁
I can't tell if the universe is trying to send me a sign or what, but I've spent the last hour fighting with this forum just to log in, and the moment I finally get through, someone starts messaging me out of nowhere. I just want to write a post in peace without being interrupted by some random person. 🤣
I managed to listen to nearly half of it. It's decent enough; I listen to Clutch every now and then, they're solid. 👍
The rain outside isn't even raining anymore; it’s a full-blown flood. Absolutely miserable. It’s pouring, everything is soaked—my firewood, my garden, you name it. Just a total washout. 🤦
^ You have to be kidding me, Kimberly Smith. Don't tell me you were actually listening to Boston too? 😁 I swear, I spent basically my entire sixth and seventh grade years with nothing but them on repeat. 🙈 Jordan was easily my favorite out of the whole group; I even went as far as collecting their trading cards. 😁
Since you brought up the chaos of those war years, I found myself reminiscing about my time as a psychic. There’s one specific song from that era that has stuck with me to this day for reasons I can't quite explain. A guy from the neighborhood I had just moved into gave it to me on a cassette tape, mixed in with several other tracks. I was head over heels for him, obviously, though I never dared to tell him—he didn't see me that way, and he was older with his own romantic interests 😁. I haven't heard that particular track in quite a while, but it remains the most vivid memory from the few years I spent living there. It constantly played on a loop in my mind:
