There's clearly something wrong with those people, and looking at today's Israeli politics, it becomes perfectly obvious why Jews are so well known as bankers and jewelers. They simply love money. They love being in control. The surrounding Arab nations were never like that.

Regarding Kali and those other female deities, you could say they're energies manifesting through specific chakras. For instance, Kali, or even Durga, which a lot of people find pretty cool, are energies tied to the lower chakras—basically, when they lose their temper, Shiva just clears out. In the higher chakras, you start seeing the energies of Parvati (that maternal vibe) and Saraswati (knowledge), and at the very highest chakra, Shiva and Shakti show up as One.

Now, much like heaven and hell, these different levels of paradise aren't permanent. Indra is actually a little paranoid about losing his throne, so whenever he sees someone making serious spiritual progress, his seat starts shaking, and he’ll send one of those celestial dancers—an apsara or whatever—to try and distract the spiritualist with some worldly passions.
So, I guess the question is: are these tales meant to describe how the universe actually works, or are they warnings? Like, maybe they're telling us that even when we reach higher states of consciousness, we still run into obstacles like fear or greed... or maybe it's all just cosmic entertainment and heavenly adrenaline rushes...

In my opinion, having money—or lacking it—doesn't say anything about a person's soul, and it certainly isn't a basis for making broad generalizations. I guess the only thing you can really say is that people who build wealth through grit rather than inheritance tend to be more ambitious than those struggling at the bottom. Beyond that, there's not much else to generalize about.
It certainly isn't a coincidence that this deep divide between the upper and lower classes has begun to erode the stability of the middle class as well.

I’m one of them myself. Instead of heading out tonight, I’d much rather meditate, dive into a book, contemplate, observe, build my inner world, or work on writing.😁 I find that being alone is the only way I can truly "center" myself, returning to that point of calm and balance before I head back out to face the world again.
To be clear, I know plenty of people with actual social struggles or emotional baggage who call themselves "old souls" or "spiritual" simply because they don't know how to connect with others or lack a support system. This post isn't about them. It's about emotionally mature, well-adjusted individuals who have everything they need, yet choose solitude as their primary source of energy.
I’d argue that these true lone wolves are more deeply connected to their authentic selves. What do you all think?
