We really should look beyond just the championship game before we judge the whole tournament. There were some incredible matchups during the first two rounds and through the round of 16.
To be honest, it’s lost some of that spark it had about 15 years ago, but hey, at least it isn't as bad as it was a couple of years back.
It’s a shame—though I guess some people will be happy about it—that they’re still obsessing over that old "5+1" thing and the number 5 ball.
Our "national team" actually pulled off the win and took home the Box without letting in a single goal. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen anyone pull that off before.
We’re playing way too defensively right now. There's zero risk-taking, and honestly, we just don't have those legendary playmakers like we used to back in the day. Only 15 goals scored in our last eight games? That's rough. Still, we're upholding a great tradition that deserves to stay alive. I actually think the league should cap the number of pro futsal players per team at two. It would bring back some much-needed unpredictability. Right now, big local spots—like fancy restaurants or massive clubs—just scout up all the top talent, making it too easy for them to steamroll through the neighborhood teams. That's exactly how the Box started, and that's how it should stay.

-Just wanted to tweak my previous thought slightly...

Actually, here in Chicago, we've got a group of kids starting kindergarten whose parents won't even dream of taking them to Yankee Stadium as long as that addict is running things and rigging championships.

-Honestly, I don't know which kids have it worse...

-I mean, watching how the LA Galaxy futsal team just absolutely tears through them... it’s honestly wild.

-Great read, though most people just follow the herd...

"You know, Jerry Maguire is such a tired cliché; he twists every single situation to serve his own ego and interests. He’ll play the nostalgia card by having Mexico honoring Yugoslavia one day, then turn around and lecture an American minister on the tiniest details the next. He even claims, 'My mother can barely handle being booed—people chanting "Get out, Jerry!" is hard enough.' I mean, how could I ever take him seriously? He once told a guy at City Hall, 'Screw you!' as if he's the only person on earth with parents. To him, he is the law, and there's no justice except his own. That's the whole problem. Sure, he fights for himself, but those interests should actually follow the rules. That's why we have institutions meant to protect the country and uphold the law. I'm a stickler for the rules, and I don't believe anyone should be above them. For me, the mystery isn't who Jerry Maguire is, but rather why the entire system and everyone around him just put up with it. It's especially frustrating seeing people brag about their friendship with him, specifically guys like Judge John Doe and Buddy Cianci. They've certainly picked some interesting company. Or maybe there's some private deal going on that we aren't privy to?"

Just like everyone expected, both sides of the Black and Gold Army showed up for the derby. You had about 500 fans holding it down in the north stands, plus another 20 or so from the east side who trickled into the stadium just after kickoff.

-always getting the scoop from the local news...

-that bolded part? It's just not true, period.
-look, I'm not saying I love it either. People on different forums can pretend to be whoever they want, but like I said, those stories about the crew behind that banner over on the east side have nothing to do with this.

ps - if you have a link or want to DM me which forum you're talking about, send it over so I can take a look...

...my little brother really showed his backbone when the crew started grilling his older brother at the press conference...
...don't get me wrong, I hope everyone recovers quickly, but let's be real—this is clearly just more provocation...
Big thanks to the Black Knights!🙏
See you guys out on the Boardwalk!🙂

-For all those whistleblowers out West, and our pals over at UEFA and the folks in San Francisco, here's a quick clip from a lovely European country. It’s a place where things actually run smoothly, fans act with some decency, and "she" really knows how to keep order.

-Big thanks to everyone up North tonight. You guys made the smart call by not letting a repeat of what happened on the 15th happen. Sending my best to the guys heading out for the away leg.
