There’s a massive difference between walking into a local sportsbook and betting online. Using a fake identity online just isn't right—not to mention it's straight-up breaking the law.

Peter, since when are you a rookie at sports betting?

If you're a minor, honestly, just hit logout.

Anyone actually snagged that 100% reload bonus? 😕

I got the exact same offer as Kupusić. 🙂

Nicholas Lopez89 said:Does joining the EU change anything regarding this "gray area" when betting with foreign bookies? Anyone got the scoop?

The EU doesn't really have a say in this; it's up to each individual country.
But since Linić is breathing down everyone's necks and promising all sorts of crackdowns, I wouldn't be shocked if they start digging around in December.

People have already touched on this earlier in the thread 😉

Terry Edwards6 said:It doesn't really matter anyway. If we join the EU, we'll end up just like Germany, with maybe a 5% tax on online sportsbooks.

Since they passed that law, does anyone have a link to it?

Every single EU member state gets to decide how they want to handle online betting. 😉

🤦

People have even been talking about this on this thread before.

Probably late to the party, but here if anyone else needs it.Listed right here: SWIFT codes for all the banks.

Mark Bishop3 said:Anyone have experience with FanDuel regarding deposits and withdrawals? Can I use PayPal or a foreign currency account for this? What are the min/max limits for deposits and bets? Looking for anyone who's actually done it.

You can use foreign currency or some online wallets.😉

Someone needs to cut Linić's internet access right now. If he catches wind of this, we're dead meat. 😢

driftinghawk83 nice work 👍
Sad just try using PayPal and you won't have any more doubts 😁

edit:
Douglas Roberts49, you're the only one still posting here 🍿

The Moneybookers master costs about $10 a year... PayPal is basically free (well, it used to be a few months back)... so if you're really struggling with a tenner, just stick to PayPal. I guess I can't say people from Denver are cheap anymore. 😉

🤣
I did read that, I just haven't sat down to crunch the numbers on the fees—you know, comparing card costs versus withdrawal fees between MB, PayPal, and Neteller. 😉

We aren't being stingy. Except for Vlaja, he’s the stingy one. ☕
But choosing which Mastercard to go with isn't about being cheap; it's about being smart. 🙂
I assume the address rule is the same for everyone since most of these terms are identical anyway. 🤷

Bryan Adams6 said:There’s a slight difference between Skrill and PayPal, but you'll figure that out on your own once you stop reading every single post so closely. 😉

🤣
Good grief, I guess I know as much as anyone else. Or maybe I don't. 🤷 I mentioned I’d just use PayPal since I already have an account set up. 🤷

By the way, there’s an entire PDF floating around on the forum called... Online shopping. Where can I find the threads for PayPal and Mastercard?

And there's a thread about that too. Seeing it all over Facebook. 🤣

goldenmaker32 said:That was the one thing missing from this whole thing 👍
Pretty sure that's how it works, right? 😁

If what she said is true, I'm taking all five of them and heading straight to the mall in Denver! 🙂

I wouldn't dare claim anything is a certainty, let alone something I'm not even involved in 😬 but that's how it should be.

Balance - c/p with Skrill

Unlike credit cards, prepaid cards have no overdraft facility available as spend is limited to the amount that has been uploaded to the card.

Unlike debit cards, a prepaid card is not associated with a bank account but with a virtual account such as the PayPal. Hence transactions made by a prepaid card do not appear on bank statements but on your PayPal transaction history.

I'm pretty sure government agencies—and I don't just mean here in the US—have ways and rules to demand transaction logs from any random "online wallet." But I also bet they only bother with that for huge sums, money laundering, and stuff like that.

Bryan Adams6 said:No clue, just email them a screenshot of your inquiry

You've been a massive help, thanks a ton 😁
I use Skrill, so I'll send them an inquiry.

Bryan Adams6 said:What do I know? I don't need to hide my address like she does to keep her Mastercard from showing up at the house so she doesn't get chewed out by her husband for betting again 🤣

I'm busted, again 😢

goldenmaker32 said:The ATM isn't going to let you withdraw anything with a card like that if it can't verify your account balance. 🤷

Where's that coming from? Why on earth would an ATM or some random bank have access to my account details? Besides, legally, they aren't even allowed to touch that stuff.

It’s pretty straightforward—if you don't have the funds, you aren't getting them out. The ATM or the bank doesn't care about your account balance. It's just like trying to buy something on eBay with an empty checking account; the transaction simply won't go through.

Card issuers and banks have these backend services—whatever you want to call them—that handle everything. You punch in your PIN and the amount you want, and at that exact moment, the ATM or the bank pings someone like MasterCard x. If MasterCard x says no, you get a declined message. If they approve it, you get your cash and that's that.

Douglas Roberts49, you might know—can I actually use a different shipping address for my card or mail than the one on my PayPal profile?

hollowfox152 said:What’s the point of having features if they don't actually work? I turn on the self-exclusion option because, let's face it, my willpower when it comes to depositing isn't exactly top-tier. You set a daily spending limit, hit that limit, and logically, the system should block any more deposits until tomorrow. But nope. You just hop into the settings and toggle the self-exclusion right off. It's a total joke.

It's basically fake self-control. 🙂
With the Democratic Party, you can make changes, but there's a 24 or 48-hour delay before they kick in—I can't quite remember which one.

Depends on what you’re betting on. Most US sportsbooks have "open" odds, meaning you don't even need to log in just to see what's available. Honestly, the best way to pick one is to scout which ones actually carry the games you want and then compare the lines. Simple as that.

You can run combo parlays over at DraftKings, but if you're looking for the best odds on singles, that's where it's at.

How does the seeding work for the groups?

PSG is struggling right now. Even their star player was venting about his teammates—or maybe he just had a bad day at the office. 🤷

Here’s what Ancelotti had to say:

Coach, how are you approaching this match against Porto?
"First place is up for grabs, so this is a very important match. Winning will almost certainly mean a better draw in the last 16. On Tuesday, it will be very important to play well, to look for the win, to get our confidence back. We need to focus on this match to finish top of the group and to do that we need to change our attitude on the pitch."

How do you plan to change the attitude?
"It means focalising on the little details. In recent matches, we haven't always demonstrated the right attitude and we have lacked concentration. We have lost easy possession and been caught out on the counterattack. We need to get back to winning ways."

Why is this match so important for you?
"It's important for two reasons. Firstly, to finish top of Group A. And secondly, this is a great opportunity to play against another great team that has a lot of experience, a chance to forget the Nice result and get some confidence and self-belief back."

Can criticism sometimes be a source of motivation?
"Sometimes criticism is warranted. I think everyone at Paris Saint-Germain is upset because we have not made a good start to the season in Ligue 1. We have lost three matches and are five points behind Lyon. Everyone wants things to change. When you are building a team, you will always have problems. But the championship is not over yet and we will be competitive and the club's other objective, qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League has been achieved. That's very important. I think we have time to improve. We are focused on finding answers and we'll be competitive right to the very end, that's for sure."

Are you feeling any particular pressure ahead of this match? Is this the most difficult period of your career?
"No. There are always tough times. A coach's job is always looking to control and limit these periods. There is pressure ahead of this match, which is normal because the objective is an important one and we are not in our best form. But I think we will play well, I have a good feeling for this match."

He seems pretty optimistic.
Eric Fox7, can you dig up how things are looking in the Porto camp?

Here is the lineup:
Vitor Pereira has named the following squad to take on Paris Saint-Germain this Tuesday.
Fabiano, Helton - Abdoulaye, Alex Sandro, Danilo, Mangala, Miguel Lopes, Otamendi - Castro, Defour, Fernando, João Moutinho, Lucho - Atsu, Jackson Martinez, James, Kleber, Varela.

Squad:
ALEX, ARMAND Sylvain, CAMARA Zoumana, CHANTOME Clément, DOUCHEZ Nicolas, HOARAU Guillaume, IBRAHIMOVIC Zlatan, JALLET Christophe, LAVEZZI Ezequiel
MATUIDI Blaise, MAXWELL, MENEZ Jérémy, NENE, PASTORE Javier, RABIOT Adrien, SAKHO Mamadou, SIRIGU Salvatore, SISSOKO Mohamed, THIAGO SILVA, VAN DER WIEL Gregory, VERRATTI Marco.

Absents:
AREOLA Alphonse (training), BODMER Mathieu (training), GAMEIRO Kevin (injured), LE CROM Ronan (training), LUYINDULA Peguy (training), LUGANO Diego (training), THIAGO MOTTA (injured), TIENE Siaka (training).

If they can actually coordinate, seeing those two find the net sounds plausible. 🤷

edit:
Forgot about my crystal ball and the tournament draw. 🙈

Let's see what kind of circus the Champions League is serving up tomorrow.

We've got 8 matches across Groups A, B, C, and D.

The Offer from SS:

Group A

Everything's pretty straightforward here. No one's helping the LA Galaxy move forward, so it's just a straight fight for that top spot.

Group B

Same story here—it's clear who’s moving on. Might be a scrap for first place, though.

Group C

Basically the same vibe as Groups A and B, except there isn't much chance of the 1st and 2nd place teams swapping spots.

Group D

Just like the other groups.

Realistically, nobody needs a miracle to advance. The real question is how everyone's feeling. Are they going to play it safe, or go all out for the prize money and those win bonuses?

If I missed anything, feel free to set me straight.
Let's get those comments rolling.

The PDF is a little messy 😉
You can find the file just above Reddit. It's got a thread specifically for changing your username .
