What's the point in repeating myself? Especially when the person I'm talking to just ignores everything I say.

It’s funny. You didn't even address a single point from my last post. Instead, you're back to accusing me of being dramatic, trolling, or bullying. Here is what I actually wrote:
Cut the lies. You're throwing out a ton of accusations here—do us all a favor and actually back them up with some proof.

Anyway, the rules are the same for everyone. Why can't you tell the difference between a rule and a request, even after I explained it?On this thread.Honestly, I have no clue.

Hey everyone, good luck out there. 👋

I’m seriously asking for some proof that the agitators who literally have nothing better to do than stir the pot every single day are being handled properly🤷. It feels like certain mods are just running a total reign of terror and acting completely biased against anyone who dares to step up and challenge their buddies

Kakav Klan, more conspiracy theories again?

Cut the lies. You're throwing out a massive amount of accusations here—do us all a favor and actually back them up with some proof.

You're always posting stuff like...
stormyseal9 said:Total horror night. I split 14 picks into three different slips, cashed out $10 on one, and still walked away with nothing. Two other tickets got killed by just a single game each. Honestly, I’m clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed. Or maybe I'm just cursed—it feels like there's always that one random leg that ruins everything for me. Always. 🙂

And then you guys just hit me with that. Just my two cents. Why does this stuff always happen to you?
So, where does this conversation go from here?
So you're just gonna start picking fights with anyone who doesn't see things your way. Great plan.

Then comes your usual commentary, like:
Why on earth would anyone listen to advice on how to bet?
If that's how you want to roll, fine by me.
Everyone’s an expert now.
Just don't go telling anyone how to place their bets.
It’s like everyone is out to get you. Just feels that way sometimes.
And that's that.

And why is everyone talking trash about how you bet? Because you're the one who asked for it.
stormyseal9 said:Honestly, I’m not exactly a genius. Am I just cursed or something? It feels like every single time, one pair always manages to screw me over—and in the most ridiculous way possible. 🙂

On the topic. Betting methods and my own experiences. People are currently debating different strategies and sharing their experiences, which somehow spiraled into a discussion about my betting style. It’s not about you. It’s about your betting style. The discussion was going totally fine until you started jumping in with those posts, calling everyone "know-it-alls" or "generals" and just being insulting. You basically nuked the whole thread by making it personal. Honestly, getting away with just a troll warning is too light—you definitely earned a ban for the insults, too.
You saw the posts get nuked, yet instead of realizing this kind of debate isn't allowed here, you just kept going with the exact same attitude.

The forum is meant for discussion, but you turned this whole thing into a personal vendetta (and not just this one thread). It’s like you have this "you're either with me or against me" mindset, which is why every single argument ends up crashing in the same way. I don't know why you do it, and honestly, I don't care—but we aren't putting up with it.

Nobody is out to get you; there are no conspiracies or Kakav Klan going on. Please, just stop taking things so personally and quit making everything about you.

I took a look at the Law recently, but either I'm just a bit slow or the whole thing was incredibly vague.

Hey, don't be an idiot—don't go insulting the other members here. 🙂
The payments through various channels were left unspoken. Online wallets. As for bank transfers to the sportsbook, nothing is left unsaid. Everything is laid out in black and white, yet nobody actually follows through.

Plus, you can't forget about the penalties hitting both the legal entities—meaning the folks actually calling the shots—and the individuals themselves.

Ali (we always have an "ali" here) anything's possible. Easygoing. Find a way to bypass direct deposits and withdrawals. Banks vs. the other side. So, using a bookie through an intermediary like DraftKings or PayPal basically means... Chase PayPal DraftKings.

The IRS might stick its nose in again if you move too much cash at once. If you drop a massive sum into your account—not sure what the exact threshold is—the banks and the Treasury get an alert. Then you're stuck explaining where the money came from or dealing with corporate tax questions. That’s why I never move big amounts in one go. Makes me wonder if the IRS actually has the legal right to come sniffing around like that. Digital wallets. Transaction statements and everything else...

Basically, it’s all one big gray area. The real question is what happens once we fully integrate into the European Union—specifically, what our politicians are actually going to decide. The EU basically left it up to individual member states to decide whether to approve or ban those offshore online betting sites that aren't officially registered in the country.
Since there’s this mandatory 5% fee being passed straight from the bookies to us—and given that the government is always scraping the bottom of the barrel for cash—I can't help but wonder about our tax ID system. It's still a bit of a mess. Is it possible they’ll just decide to turn this gray area into a black one? If they do, registration for anyone living in the US could be blocked on all those international online sites, just like how it works in other parts of Europe. We'd basically be stuck playing in the local sandbox, getting hit by that 5% fee (assuming they don't hike it up) plus whatever corporate tax they decide to slap on top. Great. Just great.

Here’s a snippet from the Law. Haven't reread the whole thing yet—running a bit short on time, so I might have missed something crucial.

Chapter IX. FOREIGN GAMBLING OPERATIONS
Article 68.
Not allowed:
Foreign operators running gambling games under Article 5 and prize games under Article 69 of this Law within the United States.
Participating in foreign gambling if the bets are being placed within the US.
3. Collecting roles within the US to participate in or pay for gambling games hosted abroad,
4. Selling, holding, business transfers, issuing, advertising, or any promotion of foreign gambling and prize games within the United States.
(2) This prohibition under item 4 of section 1 also applies to service providers and publishers.
(3) Individuals who do not hold American citizenship but are temporarily staying in the US are permitted to hold bets or winnings from foreign gambling games for their own personal participation.

(3) A fine ranging from $10,000.00 to $16667 will be imposed on any individual acting against the ban regarding foreign gambling (Article 68.).

Here’s the Law, I've looked through it along with the regulations attached to it, though I can't recall them all offhand 😢

Regarding the Gambling & Tax thread, we touched on this a bit—here is the link so take a look or drop a comment.

These posts really belong in the online betting thread, so I'll move them over there tonight.

Anthony Perez55 said:To work, they’d need to be making regular, substantial transfers straight to a checking account...

The issue is the law is incredibly vague and open to just about any interpretation.

For now, yeah. But once this actually goes live and all the prerequisites are met (Social Security, IRS, etc.), then moving money from bookies to a checking account should be a breeze.

As for the law itself, it's clearly laid out (I've already shared the links), it's just not being enforced. 🙂

LA Galaxy vs. LAFC, Sunday, 7:00 AM
1@1,60
4/10

image

The Galaxy are absolute beasts at home. Only one loss in their last 10 home matches—they've won the rest. 🙏
The visitors just joined the MLS this season, and they've only managed two wins in six rounds. They grabbed a win against the Reds at home, but lost to the Rovers on the road. 🙏

The home side is missing their captain, but Smeltz is back from international duty. On the flip side, the visitors have their big star, Shinji Ono. Honestly? I think the Galaxy are the better squad. At home, they can hold their own against anyone. I’m feeling a comfortable three points for them tomorrow.

Plus, the fans are planning quite the welcome at the stadium now that they've expanded the capacity.

Basically, I was looking atWalker 17.5 +, James Harden 22.5 +, Dragic 15.5 +, Miami 98.5 -, and Oklahoma 100.5 -. Most of you probably know who's playing where, so I won't bore you with the obvious details. 🙂

Since you're new here, please just read the intro post for this thread and check out the subforum rules. If you had, you wouldn't have just dropped a list of picks without saying a word about them. Explaining your reasoning isn't "stupid."

edit:
Just realized someone asked you why you picked those specific lines. 👍
That's what I'm asking you. 👍

The odds suggest a blowout from the Madrid residents, but history usually tells a different story. Plus, Levante UD seems tough to beat at home. Either way, this line is way too low. If it were at 3.5, maybe. But at this price? Not even with a remote control 🤷.

Maybe you got the wrong idea. All I meant was that there’s no need to tell someone they're talking nonsense; if you think a point makes zero sense, just tear it down with actual arguments like you did here. That's really all I'm saying.

Steven Baker12, skip the "next time we're throwing cardboard at you" comments and just read the subforum rules next time.

Man, do I really have to jump into every single thread to remind people not to get personal? Like, stop telling everyone they're being stupid. You can make your point with actual arguments—just like you did—without turning it into a personal attack.

Lisa Ramos59 said:Hey, I see a ton of Europa League games today. Anyone got picks for goal-fests? Looking for both teams to score and over 2.5 goals.

Asking this feels a lot like someone walking up and asking, "there are good odds today, any tips on betting on the home team?".

Maybe try throwing out a suggestion first—give us some actual reasoning why you think it's a good bet—and then ask what we think?

Maybe take a quick look at this thread? At least the last few pages.

The best sportsbook? There’s no such thing as a universal answer—everyone bets differently. It really just comes down to checking their specific offerings. See if they actually carry what you’re looking for, how the odds stack up, and what their terms are like. Once you narrow it down to a few options, you can ask here about things like user experience, betting limits, or withdrawal speeds.

Right now, I mostly stick to Pinnacle for my singles since their odds are hard to beat. As for the others, I am officially done with BetMGM and Bwin.

feralharbor9 said:I want to place a bet on tonight's LA Galaxy game over at Bet365.

What I’m wondering is, if I put $100 into Bet365, bet the full $100 on one game, and win at odds of say 2.0, can I just grab my $200 immediately after the whistle blows?

I'm asking because I saw some stuff online about restrictions—like you can't withdraw your money right away unless you've placed a certain number of bets first. For instance, if I deposit $100, do I have to wager a total of 3x my initial deposit before withdrawing, provided the odds are over 1.5? In that case, I'd need to wager $300 total, meaning three $100 bets or six $50 bets.

Thanks for the help.

Did you use a 100% bonus?
If you deposited $100 and took a 100% bonus, you'd have to roll over $200 three times. That means you'd actually have to wager $600 before you could pull any cash out.

To bet with your bonus, play through the amount of your qualifying deposit once on the sports and markets of your choice. You will need to rollover your deposit and bonus 3 times prior to making a withdrawal.

Hope you didn't place that bet yet, sorry for the rushed reply 😉

Handicaps usually set up the favorite; in this case, X hits if the favorite wins by just one goal.

Take LA Galaxy (+1) vs. Paris Saint-Germain (-1)—the Draw wins if PSG pulls it off by a single goal.
In an example like Aston Villa (-1) vs. Norwich City (+1), the -1 handicap Draw pays out if the home team wins by exactly one.

Hold on, maybe you're actually right 🤦

Just give me a specific example, please. A sportsbook, a single bet.

goldenmaker32 said:Quick question about the handicap...

TEAM 1 (-1) 8.00

TEAM 2 (+1) 1.25

TIE 5.00

Let's say I'm betting on the Asian style. If there's a 2-goal difference, one bet wins. If it's just a 1-goal difference, I get my money back.

This draw option is tripping me up...

What does it actually mean? Who wins, when, and based on what scores? 🤷

If it ends 2:0 or 3:1 (a two-goal lead for TEAM 1), then TEAM 1 wins the bet.
If it’s a 1:1 or 0:0 draw, or if TEAM 2 wins, then TEAM 2 wins the bet.
If it ends 2:1 or 1:0 (a one-goal lead for TEAM 1), then the TIE wins.

If I totally missed the mark here, please set me straight.
