Aetna supplemental insurance in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·

Timothy Roberts said:I attempted to purchase supplemental insurance through MetLife today, but I am unable to complete the payment via online banking. Every time I try, the system returns an error stating the reference number is incorrect. I have carefully entered both the model and the reference number provided in my email, and I even verified my Social Security number, yet it still fails. Has anyone else encountered this specific issue? 🙂

Same here—I was getting that same error at exactly midnight. 🙂

It’s been total chaos over there—they aren't picking up the phone either, and I kept getting a busy signal every single time I tried to call.

edit
Well, the confirmation finally popped up after an eight-hour wait, which is funny because the coverage actually kicks in in just a few minutes.
If anyone else is out there stressing about the same thing, just hang tight. It’ll show up eventually.

So, does that mean I don't need to worry?
It feels like the people closest to me just don't really get me at all.
So, at a get-together today, we ran into this guy we only know casually—we happened to be on the same weekend trip through the Rockies once. He comes up to congratulate us on becoming parents, but then immediately turns to my husband and asks if he managed to "score him a son" :vomit:. Then, he turns to me and asks if we "conceived the baby" during that trip or if it happened later. To top it all off, he starts grilling us about our birth years just so he can calculate whether we’re "old enough" or "too old" to be having kids.
There was a point when they were driving me absolutely crazy, but things have finally settled down. They used to ache, too, but I'm over that phase now.
People just have zero respect lately. Some jerk pushed right past me in line at Walmart's with only three items, while I was just standing there with one. And honestly? Not a single soul said a word.
I totally hear you 😘
Everything just seems to be getting on my nerves lately 😠
@anpi, don't be mad at me, but honestly, your husband can probably handle the laundry himself. My guy didn't even know how to turn on the washing machine until I finally snapped and told him there was no way an engineer could be this clueless about basic appliances. This was back when I was early in my pregnancy; I was working quite far away, so I was staying with my dad since he lives right near my office. Once I walked him through the laundry process, he just looked at me and asked, "Is that it?" And yeah, that was it! He’s been ironing his own clothes ever since, even though his mom lives just two streets over. It shouldn't be such a huge ordeal to iron a work shirt, 🙄
. You're probably just used to a mother-in-law who won't lift a finger for her own kid and would rather leave you to fend for yourself. You've got to teach him to save both you and your mom the trouble—especially if his mom never taught him these things in the first place. ☕
Besides, I never had to do a ton of housework at my mom's house either. We started from the exact same place, so we can figure this out together.
So, I finally had my first "skip the line" moment at the grocery store today. It was just two retirees with a couple of items, and honestly, I only had three things myself, so I didn't mind. At least I got to experience it! Later on, though, some lady at the post office almost trampled me because she’s disabled and has priority. Whatever, let her be.
It's also getting pretty annoying being at doctor's offices constantly lately; flu season is officially here, which means endless, frustrating tests.
And you know what else is irritating? Seeing how much gray hair I've gotten.
I can't stand dealing with dry skin. It's honestly the worst, especially on my shins and forearms.
Robert is really getting on my nerves

I did some searching online. My cats stay indoors all the time in our apartment, and they were vaccinated last year, so they're healthy. Usually, toxoplasmosis affects outdoor cats. I also checked with my doctor, and once I explained the situation, she told me there was nothing to worry about.
Stop stressing over whether you need this specific gadget or that one. Just get out there and enjoy yourself—I’ve got nothing but time on my hands.
Just two quick thoughts: if something rotates 360 degrees, it’s done a full circle, which means you're right back where you started 😉
And honestly, who's going to clean the litter box for my cats if I'm home alone while my husband is traveling? I am definitely not calling my mom or my brother-in-law to come over just to scoop out cat poop...
Dark circles, visible veins, and dry skin 🤦
My veins feel irritated and inflamed
