From everything I’ve seen, you just wake up back at some previous point in your life and the whole cycle starts all over again—except you don't remember a damn thing, so you're just doomed to trip over the same stones twice.

Morgan Rodriguez40 said:From my own perspective regarding death—not suicide, mind you—it’s nothing spectacular, really; just a sudden snap back to the status quo.

However, my experience is tied specifically to the failure of the physical body; perhaps the second half of this equation isn't ready for the transition yet, which might explain why nothing happens.

Could you go into a bit more detail? What exactly have these experiences been like for you both?
neonmarlin39 said:I don't get why everyone gets so sensitive when someone makes a joke about space—it’s basically just cosmic spirituality at this point. Look, on a forum like this, what actually matters is the argument. I have zero patience for rudeness, trolling, or people just talking nonsense to hear themselves speak. And honestly? I'm not being "cranky" or acting like a kid—believe me, I'm definitely not 15—it’s just a calculated reaction. You might not totally get where I'm coming from, but I know what I'm doing. I decided to hang out here and post for a bit on my own terms. If I snap at a rude troll, it’s because they won't back off or they're just being straight-up obnoxious. Just look at that post by Joseph Bailey41 right under my previous one. I'm always down for a real, constructive conversation, but if you take a quick look around this board, you'll see those are getting harder and harder to find. It feels like decent discourse is becoming part of the Alternative or even religious territory lately. I mean, surely we can agree that attacking other users, insulting them, or trolling isn't exactly "constructive"? So it's pretty weird that after dealing with endless troll posts, insults, and people ganging up on me, you're trying to paint me as some sensitive old lady. Whatever. Think what you want, but to me, that kind of behavior is just pathetic. I'm genuinely curious, though... how many more posts about me am I gonna have to deal with? 😁

Look, I’m just saying—I don't see any damn reason to defend crimes committed by any of those regimes or systems, and I'm not just talking about the communist ones. Joseph Bailey41 started coming at me with direct insults, and honestly, she's been trolling me ever since I brought up communism in another thread. That's her issue, not mine. It seems like this peanut is also getting pretty emotional about communist atrocities, acting like I need to leave them alone (as if I haven't already, except they were just mentioned as an example like 😁)

Look, man, what "humorous observations"? I don't follow you. Regardless, it's clear people didn't take it well, yet you keep forcing the issue. You stir up the whole forum, get everyone riled up against you, and then act like everyone else is the problem. Just drop it and let's move on.
Well, I popped in here just to read this thread. The title caught my eye, and I was genuinely curious about what drives the OP to feel this way. But the author is staying silent while things descend into absolute chaos here. So, if you'll permit me, I’ll offer my take on this whole brawl as someone completely neutral who doesn't actually know any of you—well, except for Joseph Bailey41, whom I've had some lovely chats with during those rare moments I post here or over on Alternative.

neonmarlin39, I think your take on the universe missed the mark. I'm alone in this, but I believe others understood exactly what Peanut meant. I suspect you understood it too, but your ego is getting in the way... so you keep pushing, turning everyone against you until, without even intending to be insulting, you end up sounding like an old busybody. I don't mean to offend you; honestly, I used to be exactly like that, especially in sports debates or on other forums. I used to pull that "I've settled all you guys" routine, too. But eventually, I mellowed out. Now I avoid those fights, and more importantly, I can admit when I've messed up or misread a situation, which happens. Maybe you're just young, or maybe you're just high-strung like I was—unable to let things go and digging your heels in even when you're wrong. It's all ego. Don't sweat it, though; it's easy to move past if you want to. You aren't stupid or anything; you're just a bit exhausting, much like I once was.

Since you all brought up Communist atrocities, I should comment on that too. Of course, we should be grateful they liberated us from Fascist terror, but that absolutely does not mean their own crimes should be ignored or swept under the rug. As someone with history in my blood—someone who has worked with top-tier historians, treats history as a hobby, and spent a chapter of my life researching both general history and the specific history of my hometown—I can tell you they committed horrific crimes, including looting the people and plenty of other evils. One power was simply swapped for another. They created a system where, over time, people might have lived more securely than they do today, but that's true of any regime. Still, the crimes were real and shouldn't be dismissed just because they ended the terror. Thinking otherwise is fundamentally flawed.

As for the actual topic, you've all said it. The OP needs to realize there is so much beauty in life; there's really no point in ending it all when death is coming for us regardless.

So, that's basically the least said about the subject, unfortunately. It's proof of how quickly a thread goes off the rails when people overdo it.

🙂🙂

That’s my point—either step up and actually do something, which clearly isn't happening, or just sit there and let some random group of people laugh at you.

In other words... you haven't done a single thing. 🤦

But alright, let's try this: tell me, what exactly am I supposed to do?

Did you lose your tongue or something? Is that why you can't explain what you've actually accomplished? Come on, teach me something. Apparently, you've done massive, earth-shattering things for this country, for society as a whole, and for LA Galaxy... I'm just sitting here, waiting with bated breath for your answer.

Richard Lewis16 said:Look, telling someone the truth isn't an insult. I’m sorry you're being so incredibly sensitive, honey. 🙄
Why does some random guy posting online hit you so hard? Honestly, that's a pretty unhealthy way to live, you know?

I mean, if you’re actually convinced by what you're writing, then any sane person would start questioning themselves if everyone else was saying the exact opposite.
And I told you before—you should probably get out there and change something. But my bad, I didn't realize you were such a delicate little flower. You're right, this isn't for you.

Let me ask you something: have you actually changed anything while talking down to people like that? What have you actually accomplished? Come on, let's hear it.

Richard Lewis16 said:Look, am I saying you can't comment? Why are you acting like I'm trying to silence you?

You can start by actually finding people who agree with you and building some momentum, but you've got to stop being lazy and actually get moving.
See, just like I give you the freedom to write and have your own opinions, let me have the right to laugh at someone sitting behind a keyboard, whining about how everything is someone else's fault while hiding like a coward and waiting for someone else to do all the work.
To me, that’s just hilarious. I love pointing out stuff like that. So why does my writing bother you so much?

The logic is broken again... I was wondering why I shouldn't bother commenting if some condescending jerk is just going to jump down my throat and insult me immediately.

Man, where am I supposed to "get moving"? Did you forget you were in therapy or something? Go take a shower, clear your head, and when you actually start being able to read and understand things, then come back and talk to me.

Richard Lewis16 said:How exactly is the title fake? 🤷

This just sounds like a pathetic Donkey crying over nothing.
Look, I get it. You don't want to celebrate, you’re just sitting there waiting for someone else to make a move instead of actually getting off your butt—which is a classic American trait, by the way—and honestly? You just end up looking ridiculous and soft.
But I have to side with Treveskov. If things change, why should anyone be forbidden from celebrating? We should just let people laugh at the losers rather than trying to protect them.

I’d argue that Real Madrid still exists because of that handful of "fools" who stay behind, grinding and fighting. Is there anything more positive than seeing kids follow that same path? To me, it proves that no matter how grueling the road is, it’s clearly the right one.

Like the song says:

Man, I can see logic isn't exactly your strong suit either. Is there some kind of epidemic going around?

Of course this season's title isn't "fake" in the way it was when Cleveland was brutally robbed. Sure, Cleveland played poorly and missed big chances, but the fact remains they were cheated while Real Madrid was pushed forward. But everything becomes "fake" once you factor in having a Locomotive playing in the mix, having the refs, and having the entire officiating organization—hell, the whole damn league—backing you up. When you look at it that way, the title is absolutely fraudulent. What are you even identifying with here? This mess? Even if Mommy wasn't pulling the strings, the situation is so bad that the club is worse than the New York Yankees and the Partisans combined back in the South. What exactly are you proud of? It's all a sham—fake titles, fake glory—but I suspect you lack the mental capacity to grasp that. I'm fairly certain of it, because even here, I see Donkeys like you. 🤣

Why on earth would I be "ridiculous" or "soft"? What am I supposed to do? Change the state of the entire country? Me? I don't vote for Kradeze and I do what I can. If you think I’m just wandering around stadiums, I’m neither old enough nor healthy enough for that. I used to travel to stadiums all across the South in the old days, so don't you dare tell me what I should be doing, you little brat.

This just sounds like some pathetic loser whining.
Look, fine. You don't want to celebrate. You're sitting there waiting for someone else to make a move instead of actually getting off your butt—which is a classic American trait, I guess—and honestly, you have to realize you just look ridiculous and weak.
But I’m with Trevethan on this one. Once things change, why should anyone be forbidden from reacting? We should be allowed to laugh at losers, not defend them.

I’d argue that Real Madrid still exists because of that small handful of "fools" who are still out there, grinding and fighting. Is there anything more positive than seeing young kids following that same path? To me, that proves that no matter how brutal the road is, it's clearly the right one.

Like the song goes:

Think about how many of those titles are illegitimate. Think about how they reached that point. How was this entire power structure built so that they can grab everything worth having in America while everyone else gets the scraps? You don't have to be an idiot to see it.

What can I, as a single individual, even do? The issue is the entirety of American society, and Real Madrid is just one symptom of it. What exactly am I supposed to do? And why do people think I don't have the right to comment when things are being handled poorly? Or say the messaging during the derby was brain-dead? Why shouldn't I be able to write that it's nonsense to act like everything is fine just because the big boss is away at Lourdes? Where did this stupid mantra even come from?

It’s never going to happen—unless I personally make it happen. Sorry, but you're being a bit slow on this one.

ironpanther4 said:Look, I’m not even trying to be difficult here. I actually agree with you regarding that whole "200 true fans" theory. My issue isn't with the logic; it's with those self-appointed experts who act like they know everything about the world while pretending Manchester United doesn't exist. They can't identify with the club anymore, so fine. If that's how you feel, just leave him alone and move on. That's that.

So what's the actual issue there? Who said "never"? It feels like you're twisting your words a bit now just to suit your own narrative.

If the old version of Real Madrid—the one I could actually relate to—came back, I’d be the happiest person alive. But unfortunately for me, and for people like me, that's never going to happen. There. You have this pathetic remnant of Manchester United to cling to. Go ahead, enjoy it. Pretend everything is fine and that life will be "lovely jubbly" once Glazer finally ends up in a jail cell. Honestly, I don't think you've earned any better than that.

ironpanther4 said:If Real Madrid suddenly finds their form again tomorrow, like you claim, then people like you should be banned from even walking past the stadium, let alone stepping foot inside it.

Look, I feel exactly the same way about people like you. You don't see any issue when a player goes on TV to publicly praise Mommy, or how you all celebrate hollow trophies and worship players and coaches like they're gods. If Real Madrid actually wanted to rebuild from the ground up, they’d need to ensure they never receive support from people like you ever again. Burn it all down to the foundation—including you lot (figuratively speaking, obviously, but you get my point)
Bad Boys in Fans ·
ironpanther4 said:People like that are honestly my biggest mystery. Their whole argument basically boils down to "Real Madrid doesn't even exist," that they're just some pathetic little club, a walking ATM, and that they hate them so much they’ll never support them again. Fine. Whatever. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But if that's the case, why on earth does every other post on this forum revolve around that same damn team and its fans? Personally, when I hate something, I just hit the heavy ignore button and move on with my life! I truly think it comes down to some deep-seated complexes.

Complexes about what?

Look, just because Real Madrid doesn't exist doesn't mean I don't want them back. If I see something standing in the way of that comeback, why shouldn't I comment on it? I don't get it.

ironpanther4 said:Hold on, are you that guy who writes entire novels out of forum posts? The one who used to root for Real Madrid but now follows Rijeka or something like that? If that’s you, please, just don't reply to me. In my stage of life, the only people who switch teams are Mexicans doing it for financial reasons. From a fan's perspective: just get lost.

Haha, typical. When you run out of actual arguments, you resort to stuff like this. Look, Real Madrid isn't a club I identify with anymore—honestly, that version of the club doesn't even exist. You're living in an illusion, and that's your problem. But you really should watch what you say, because what you just typed is pure nonsense. Of course it matters whether some common criminal is bragging publicly; that shouldn't be "just how they do things." If you need to make excuses to justify supporting players like that, go ahead. Just don't try to convince us that something completely irrational is actually normal.

ironpanther4 said:I couldn't agree more. Bjelica and the players—regardless of how much some people might dismiss them as nobodies—don't deserve any of this abuse. Honestly. They show up, they give it their all on the pitch, and frankly, they do it quite well. I truly don't care if one of them decides to praise Mamić here or there; that’s their business. That's where we separate ourselves from the mindless crowd. For instance, those people get worked up about Srna potentially returning just because he didn't boycott the national team. Or they won't leave Dalton alone, constantly picking at him until he finally makes his exit (which should be by September at the latest).

"Their business?" Don't be ridiculous. It's much more than that. Publicly praising a criminal isn't just "their business"—it reflects on the entire organization. If you can't see the problem there, then you really have issues grasping how reality works.

Jesse Doyle3 said:Sjekiras, just back off already.

Honestly, you're acting like some wandering desert wind. There’s really no point in me trying to explain things to you when, by your own admission, you haven't even been part of this scene for years.
You have absolutely no clue what's actually happening on the ground, which makes having a real debate with you pretty much impossible.

Don't give me that empty rhetoric. You guys started down the wrong path—call it "subpar" or whatever euphemism you want to use—but what else am I supposed to say? It’s obvious. I see you celebrating goals and trophies like they mean something, I see how people refuse to call out Bjelica, and I see how, instead of targeting Mamić during the big rivalry games, everyone is too busy worrying about Tovar. I don't need to step outside to know it's snowing.

And who told you I don't know what's going on? A year ago, I was right here posting about one specific forum regular... maybe you remember him. I got attacked for it then, too. I stepped away for a few months, and when I came back, the guy had basically exposed himself. Naturally, the whole forum turned on him once they realized whose puppet he actually was.😉 So, just because I'm not physically standing in the stands doesn't mean I'm in the dark. In this argument, I might as well be Jozo Bubalo from Široki Brijeg, someone who never leaves his hometown, because the direction this is heading and the mistakes you've made are plain as day.

Jesse Doyle3 said:The latest reports regarding the investigation into the club's leadership are nothing short of explosive. We’re looking at deep-seated allegations that suggest a shadow organization has been pulling the strings behind the scenes for years. It’s not just about bad management; we are talking about serious accusations of organized crime influence within the very structure of the club. When you read through these details, it feels like a heavy weight is settling over the fans. For anyone who truly cares about the integrity of our sport, this is gut-wrenching. How much of what we thought was "business as usual" was actually something far more sinister? I saw some people online trying to brush this off as typical media hype, but you can't ignore the sheer scale of these claims. It goes straight to the heart of how the club is governed. If these allegations hold water, the entire foundation of the current administration is compromised. We need transparency, and we need it now. No more excuses, no more hiding behind legal jargon. The truth needs to come out.

It’s honestly laughable. You’ve got criminals running to the government to complain that they're being threatened by other criminals. Talk about a joke. 🙂

Since they locked that other thread, I figured I’d just give you my answer here. Honestly, you’ve been picking at me again—who knows how many times now? I’ve actually been trying to avoid laughing right in your face because, if I’m being real, I kind of feel for you. I know you were only trying to do the right thing, but look where it got you. Decisions like this aren't easy, not by a long shot.

Look, being wrong doesn't give you a free pass to be an idiot. That’s exactly why half this forum is tearing into you right now. You just kept digging your heels in, stubbornly preaching the same nonsense and insulting anyone who was actually trying to help you out by pointing things out. It's on you.

I basically laid out what that third option was for Dinamo yesterday—that’s my final word on that thread, so feel free to go back and take a look if you want. Honestly, I don't think people really got what I was driving at. Some were chiming in about how that third option has been playing out for years now... but all I was trying to say is that we should have doubled down on it. We needed to be even faster, even more aggressive. We need to stop celebrating goals like they're some grand achievement; we need to push the players and the coach harder. Instead, everyone acts like everything is fine now, pretending it's more important to humiliate Tovar than to actually send a clear message regarding Mamic.

Option two would be the dream—just wipe the slate clean and stop celebrating these fake titles. Honestly, that’s what I’d personally love to see, but I’m not naive enough to think we’ll actually get there. That said, option three was perfectly reasonable; we should have taken that path. The main goal is keeping the group alive, right? You can sit here all day complaining about how much you hate Mamic (which, let's be real, I totally believe), but that theory doesn't mean much if it isn't backed up by actual results like we saw in option three. Instead, after that absolutely brainless message went out to the public, it feels like the resistance against Mamic is just fizzling out. Why? Because apparently, the only thing that matters now is staying ahead of Hajduks Split, playing in European competitions, and humiliating Tovar.

Don't go calling me a hypocrite or accusing me of playing games here, because I’ve never done that in my life. I just wanted to get this off my chest. I actually said this yesterday when the moderator attacked you, claiming you were only going to show up now to say that the message wasn't meant as preparation for Mamic's return. Look, I know that's not what it was. I know exactly what that message meant, and I know it wasn't an endorsement of Mamic. But at the same time? It was just incredibly stupid. It was mindless and totally ill-conceived. It carries this affirmative tone toward Mamic that we just don't need. Honestly, it was the absolute worst possible time to send a message like that. In fact, any time Mamic is mentioned—unless it's to tell him where to shove it—it's just plain stupid and completely unnecessary.

And let me address that next "argument" you always throw at me to try and discredit my point. You seem to think that because I’ve spent years in the stands—years I couldn't even pull off now if I wanted to due to health issues—that my opinion somehow carries less weight. I gave everything I had when the time was right, but does that disqualify me from this debate? Do I not have the right to an opinion, a personal stance? Are you really going to try and strip that away just because you're part of the inner circle now? Honestly, who actually cares what someone like silentcobra80 thinks anyway? What difference would it make? This is strictly my view, and my view is that we took a wrong turn. Call it lecturing if you want; maybe it is. But we all get a bit preachy about certain things sometimes, don't we? Even you. My decision is mine and mine alone: I refuse to equate the old Dinamo with this current GNK mess. I won't swallow those tired clichés about how we have to support the club regardless of what Mamic does. For me, Mamic changed the entire DNA of this organization. It isn't Dinamo anymore. It would only become itself again if "Option 2" ever came to fruition, but we both know that’s not happening. That’s just my personal wish, it has nothing to do with you. Still, for years, I was tied to Dinamo. I neglected my wife and kids for this. Instead of paying off my debts, I was throwing money at Dinamo. Even when I couldn't afford tickets or gear, I was still there. Finger and toe, through thick and thin. So, even though this isn't—and will never be—the club it used to be, that doesn't mean I don't want the best for it. To me, Option 2 is the goal. Option 3 is simply preserving the group so there's something left to support. That’s the bottom line. You have no reason to attack me or constantly try to tear me down. You should take a hard look at your own actions and figure out what your actual priorities are. Think about what you're willing to sacrifice just to ensure the survival of this group... because clearly, this version of us isn't it, and you folded just to save face. Just admit it.

Attacking a local pub filled with seniors and women with signal flares? Is the Vincenzo crew really such a threat from those old clashes that you didn't even have the guts to size up a group in a bar? What are you even talking about? When there's actually something happening, you aren't anywhere to be found in the city, but the second everyone says the die-hard fans aren't around, suddenly you've all grown a pair—only to end up looking pathetic, just like you always do. Absolute bottom of the barrel! There's no point even mentioning The 12th Man or the Boys in St. Louis; if they were even worth a mention, Delija wouldn't be running the streets. And don't even get me started on that run away from Delija through Canada last year. You might be top tier in the stands, but on the street, you're nothing. See you soon.

You go ahead and enjoy yourself... you're young, you'll figure it out eventually. You'll realize there are some values you just shouldn't mess with. This city ought to be a place where we all stand together. It was all shown beautifully today.☕

I live in Memphis, and honestly? I’m just over it. This whole "hero city" thing is exhausting. We’re treated like some legendary monument that politicians only visit once a year when they want to pose for a photo op and look sympathetic. It’s performative. Most of the time, we shouldn't have to be "heroes"—we should just be allowed to be a normal, functional American city.

As for the whole fan rivalry thing—look, if everything stays within reason, you know? No guns, no knives, just a fair fight between the groups... then why not? I mean, what does it matter if we're talking about Memphis or anywhere else?

Comments asking why we don't clash with the Mexicans are just as incredibly stupid. We’ve had plenty of run-ins with them. Believe me, the BBB, the Raiders, the Delije, and even the Gravediggers have all been in the mix together. There was so much going on that the media never touched—and honestly, it's probably better they didn't. So, quit talking about it like you actually know what's happening, because you clearly have no clue.
Justin Chavez6 said:It’s honestly wild seeing how much that old-school American sentiment is creeping back into our local boys' circles!

I caught it just yesterday on this show. We're talking about the fans for our local minor league baseball team, those big-time Celtics from The Trinity. Even though they rock the checkerboard pattern, man, that anthem melody is something else.
The lyrics go: “Screw your mom, screw your dad, if you don't love the local minor league baseball team!” Seriously, once those beats start hitting, you almost feel like shouting, “America, ohhh America!”

Plus, there's way too much cursing going on. And we all know exactly where that kind of attitude is coming from.

It's such a shame, really, because the guys themselves are actually pretty decent, genuine people.

🤣😂😂😂 That’s honestly one of the funniest things I’ve heard in a long time. 🤣

But wait, is YUGOton really just a channel for nostalgia junkies? Are the people tuning in actually all those old-school American sympathizers? 😁
