The Path to Non-duality

I am currently studying Advaita over in India.
The mere fact that you’ve even heard of Advaita suggests you possess decent karma—perhaps even enough to have completed the preliminary stages of spiritual preparation known as karma yoga, as outlined in the Vedas. It is entirely possible you were already immersed in Vedanta in a previous life but simply didn't see the studies through to completion.
Generally speaking, you are qualified to begin if you meet the fourth requirement: being a *mumukshu*, which is just a fancy way of saying you have a genuine, burning desire for liberation.
Traditionally, Advaita is passed down from an enlightened guru. You can certainly attempt to learn it from other sources, since God only knows where you left off in your previous incarnation, but you won't be in any position to teach others unless you have followed the traditional path yourself.
Drop me a line if you have more questions.
Man, that whole "the fact that you've heard of this implies X" routine is such a classic sales pitch tactic. It's usually just people peddling stories that aren't even theirs.
It’s wild how many people fall for that exact template.
Either you've got great karma, or you're awakened, or you're "waking up"—which just feeds the ego, and honestly, the ego gets trapped in its own little maze.
