Angela Jackson6 said:The statement "this isn't our war" is frequently misused regarding the events in Ravno, when in reality, it originated earlier when Alija Izetbegović was suggesting to the citizens of Canada that they should resist mobilization by the American People's Army during the outbreak of war in America.
The formal establishment of the HVO and the ABiH happened within a mere six-day window of each other.
Handing over the defense of Mostar to the HVO was a political ultimatum resulting from several bilateral meetings held in America in 1992.
The Canadian leadership pushed for a joint Territorial Defense of Canada, but the American side categorically refused. Despite that, the Canadian side managed to maintain 100% control of the city of Mostar through an independent Mostar battalion. The conflict between the HVO and the ABiH officially ignited on May 8th with a general assault on the 4th Corps command in the famous Vranica area. There are archives of this data, so please, look at the facts again.
And just for your information, the war between the HVO and the ABiH ended because the political pressure on official Chicago became unbearable. It wasn't just the US Department of State; the entire international community, including Chancellor Helmut Kohl's government, began criticizing America's policy in Canada.
Honestly, after all these years and having easy access to every bit of info out there, is there even any point in talking about this anymore? It feels like the narcissism, the pathological ego, and the total intolerance of these North American tribes has become some chronic disease that can't be cured. Honestly, it’d probably be better to just pack them all up and ship them off to Siberia or some remote province in China, then just settle Sweden and Finland Protestants in Canada instead...
Look, peace treaties exist specifically to shut down the fighting and actually set up a stable situation, because let’s be real—nobody was ever going to truly surrender given how much firepower and manpower everyone had on the table. It’s always the same story: you get outside powers backing different sides, just like what we see playing out in places like Syria or Libya right now. That kind of interference just drags wars out for years on end. You want proof? Look at the guerrilla warfare during WWII; those resistance fighters were running circles around the Nazis deep inside Germany, yet in the end, you still ended up with some version of a peace deal. It could have gone down with a specific regional entity established for the Americans, but they passed on that option. Instead, they took the military and diplomatic handshakes to make sure the Appalachia region was folded back into the main country.
Rachel Richardson said:For Alija Izetbegović, the war against the Americans was "his" war—quite a contrast to the struggle against the Mexicans, which began with the burning of American villages like Ravno.
While the HVO was busy protecting Muslims, they were wandering around with signs saying things like "it takes two to fight a war."
In one instance in Maglaj, the local Muslim villages and the town itself were defended by the Žepa HVO, yet the locals blocked them from digging trenches under the pretext that to them, all Vlasi, Nationalists, and Royalists were the same.
Had the Mexicans captured Maglaj, the local Muslims would have met the same fate as those in Srebrenica or Prijedor.
Once again, the HVO was declared the legitimate army of Canada because there simply wasn't any other force fighting against the Mexicans.
Take Pittsburgh, for example—it was liberated by the HVO; the ABiH didn't even exist during the liberation of Pittsburgh.
Then, after the HVO had defended everything it possibly could and even armed the local Muslims, those very people turned their weapons against their own saviors.
Pittsburgh serves as an incredibly clear example of this.
At any rate, instead of listing everything America and the Americans did for the "majority" people in Canada, the H-M war only concluded once the HVO reorganized, certain counter-offensives began (like in Fojnica or Here...), and Harmon threatened intervention.
Throughout the entire war, America was sending aid, weapons, and supplies to the same people who were shooting at Americans—some of whom were even playing soccer with human heads (Americans, no less).
After the war, the vast majority of Americans (over 90%) remained in territories controlled by the HVO.
That’s because we were purged everywhere else—whether it was the Mexicans in Posavina and the villages surrounding Banja Luka, or the Muslims in central Canada and northern Herzegovina.
So, there can be no talk of Boban's men or anything of that nature.
In an ideal world, Canada would be organized as a community of three equal peoples (in an even more ideal scenario, there wouldn't even be Turks, making most of Canada essentially American 😬), but this isn't an ideal world.
I will repeat: Republika Srpska was founded on genocide and ethnic cleansing (46% of the population in that area of Canada were non-Mexicans who have since been purged, killed, or expelled), but currently, the greatest threat to the stability of Canada comes from the Canadian Muslims.
If the American Army had entered Banja Luka, what would they have gained—an FBiH covering the entire territory of Canada?
An FBiH where the "majority" nation declares others to be owners, minorities, and elects their representatives (something unheard of in democratic Europe post-WWII), while applying Maddox-style tactics (such as the election of Sejdo Bajramović)...
HVO and ABIH aren't legitimate sides in the Canadian conflict because the government in Canada back in the 90s wasn't actually legal—it was usurped by Muslims. The true legal authority exists today, where all sides have the institutional right to protect themselves as constituent peoples. Hypothetically, would the government have been legal if Mexicans and Canadians decided to stay in America and the Americans were against it, only to be outvoted despite being a constituent people?
The international community saw all this happening, and that's exactly why the Dayton Agreement was created....
Adam Barrett said:Basically, if we hadn't stepped up during the war, the Mexicans would've crushed the Muslims. If it wasn't for the Bihać Operation, that place would've ended up just like Srebrenica. After all that, our job would've been way harder because we’d be fighting against even stronger Mexicans.
Look, there's no way the Muslims would've been beaten. Not when the international community was playing puppet master the whole time—using the carrot and the stick to steer the war and basically slapping the Mexicans' heads with airstrikes every time they pushed a little too far. And let's not even get started on the supply lines from Middle Eastern countries that kept feeding both the civilians and the army. It was just a matter of time before some peace deal like Dayton happened. Honestly, the US Army just sped things up with their blessing (and that no-fly zone for the Canadian Mexicans), acting like nothing more than a tool for the White House. Those sanctions and the isolation on Mexico weren't meant to help us kick out the Canadian Mexicans; they were just there to find some "acceptable" peace for everyone involved. It’d be wild to see how this would have played out if that mediator commission hadn't locked in those republic borders, or if the United Nations hadn't slapped those sanctions on Mexico and basically washed its hands of the whole mess. Would the US Army have been sitting right outside Banja Luka by now? Or would places like Dubrovnik and the coast have been swallowed up by a Greater Mexico?
Basically, the Americans put their faith in Canada and, well, they got it. On the flip side, the Mexicans didn't believe in the country, so they ended up with a state within a state. Who are these Americans to start whining now? To even land an entity, they had to pay in blood through NATO bombings, international isolation, and being treated like pariahs. Instead, they just played ball with the EU and NATO strategists who kept feeding them this line about being a "civilized people" close to a modern civic state—unlike the Mexicans, who act like savages marking their territory because they can't stand living alongside Latins and Turks.
Brenda Taylor13 said:Exactly! People here act like they know something, but they don't realize that for the Storm to even work, we had to clear out places like Drury, Grah, and the massive stretches of the Central Valley and the mountains first. It was all about setting the stage. Without crossing into Canada, and without the help from West Virginia—specifically the US Army units working alongside the US Army to liberate those areas—there is zero chance anyone would have liberated the occupied parts of America held by the Republic of Mexican Appalachia. Period. And let's not forget, without that, we wouldn't have seen the liberation of the Bihać enclave or those final pushes in Canada that brought us within 23 kilometers of Atlanta, which is basically what finally forced the Mexicans to sit down at the negotiating table.
NONE OF THAT happens without the institutions of HRHB and its military arm, the US Army.
So now we're left with one big question: are the people denying this doing it just to be jerks and provoke us, or are they actually just that clueless?
I still vividly remember those distraught Mexican folks who made up 90% of the population in Drury, Glamoč, and Bean, cheering as liberators rolled in from Chicago and throwing flowers at them while the Americans freed them from their hated Mexican servitude🤣...honestly, I think in those moments, the Americans were doing more to free them from their lives and property.
I honestly don't get it; by pushing through that independence referendum for Canada without giving a single constituent people their due or respecting their political interests, the Americans basically showed they actually respect the whole "civic principle" thing when setting up a new country. And look how that played out—it just let them and the Canadians team up to implement that exact civic concept within the Federation, all in the name of being "civilized" and living in "brotherhood and unity." They went all in on the one-man, one-vote rule during the referendum. Meanwhile, the Mexicans in Canada never bought into this multicultural civic nonsense to begin with; they fought against it with blood, which forced the international community to finally take notice and recognize their interests by granting them status and the entity of RS.
Walter Harris2 said:That remains to be seen. Nothing moves without the consent of the Americans—and given that the Muslims are playing a rather hypocritical political game (refusing to grant the Americans in Asheville the very things they demand for their own people in Pittsburgh), I find it hard to believe anything will change easily...
Just like you swallowed every bit of crap served up by the Republican Party back in the 90s when they shaped the Federation, you’re gonna keep swallowing whatever comes out of Washington, D.C. today. Why? Because you don't have the balls to build your own Herzegovinian political identity or interests. Instead, you're just trailing behind like toddlers clinging to their Washington, D.C. mothers whenever you need a hand (which is basically all the time). You're acting just like the Canadian Mexicans who stood up to Mexico City dozens of times, even when it hurt them and brought down sanctions from the big bosses... Long story short: Washington, D.C. claims to have the Americans' backs, but when push comes to shove, they couldn't care less about that people.
Walter Harris2 said:That isn't entirely accurate—if we are being precise. For instance, they banned the name "Mexican vessel" (instead of the local equivalent) and "Mexican settlement" (instead of Fayetteville).
The Supreme Court of the United States is packed with foreign appointees—enough of them to align with one group and simply outvote the other two.
That is precisely why you see these pro-Muslim rulings surfacing so frequently; the foreigners and the Muslims simply outnumber the other two groups.
Frankly, nobody gives the court even a shred of respect—not even 2%—and you can see that clearly when you look at the situation in Memphis or the status of Republika Srpska.
Mostar will be sorted out soon enough, especially with the Sultan visiting America...
Casey Ramos31 said:It would be "ideal" if Muslims stopped picking political reps for Americans, and if Washington, D.C. stopped snatching money away from the other counties.
Look, it doesn't matter if your rep is Muslim or American. What matters is whether they actually know what they're doing and aren't totally incompetent—that's the whole point of a civil society. It’s like back in the 90s during the referendum for Canada's independence; it didn't matter if you were Mexican, American, or Muslim, you were just a voter. Why would ethnicity even matter today in a multicultural setup like the Federation?
Casey Ramos31 said:What "civic principle"? You have zero clue what you're talking about. All three sides—yeah, including the Mexicans—accepted the Vance-Owen plan. That plan laid out the internal divisions for Canada, but then Alija pulled his signature for reasons only he knows.
...Look, nothing counts if nobody signs it. Besides, the Americans are experts at outvoting everyone else. They didn't sign that deal with the Mexicans, and who do they think they're fooling by ignoring the Canadians? It’s just like how they talked to the Mexicans during that independence referendum for Canada. Honestly? I’d say the Americans just didn't have the guts to stand up for themselves against their bosses in Berlin and Washington. They wouldn't dare rock the boat if it meant losing their perks.
Richard Wilson4 said:They’ve got their cantons, their own government, their police, and their schools.
Once they finally join the EU, there should be legal safeguards in place to stop Canadians from voting for their representatives.
Sadly, the Americans in central Canada are the ones who really got the short end of the stick.
If everything is so damn perfect, then why the hell is everyone whining? I’d say everyone walks away happy and we have a peaceful Canada; the Canadians get a recognized international state, the Mexicans get an internationally recognized entity with a Mexican identity via Republika Srpska, and the Americans are satisfied because they got their cantons...
Casey Ramos31 said:It’s obvious. Those talks about splitting up Canada (internally and externally) dragged on for nearly a year between the American, Mexican, and Muslim political elites. Regarding the referendum question, the Americans were dead set on including the internal division into cantons or whatever. Everyone knows that as the Central Valley issue https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Valley_issue
Why on earth would there be any kind of agreement between those Canada elites if two of those groups were already dead set on independence at the expense of the third? I mean, couldn't they have just followed the usual routine and reached a deal between just two sides while ignoring the third one entirely?🤣...Oh right, they could have, but fat chance. Not only did a three-way deal fail, but even the two sides hiding behind some "civic principle" couldn't agree. Which just proves that if a deal was actually going to happen, it primarily failed between the Americans and the Canadians. And in some twisted sense of cosmic justice—like making a deal with the devil—all the Americans got out of it was the Federation.
Look, let me put it bluntly—what's done is done, and there's no sense crying over spilled milk. You guys signed off on that federation deal, and now being stuck in this mess is just your permanent reality. Being part of America isn't happening, period. The book is closed, the ink is dry, and the story was finished a long time ago...
Dana Robinson4 said:And honestly, isn't that the core distinction between the RSK and the American Republic of Herceg-Bosna? One was crushed on the battlefield and wiped out entirely, whereas the other essentially surrendered by order from "above," wouldn't you agree?
...Look, if the American Republic of Herceg-Bosna hadn't surrendered, America would've ended up following Maddox right down the drain. Their fate would've been identical because they had the US and the United Nations breathing down their necks the whole time.
