So over these last four years, I've been paying for maybe two or three invoices every single year just to cover my bookkeeping and stuff... do those specific bills have anything to do with the filing process?

So, I was wondering if it's actually possible to register for sales tax during the current year, even though I haven't sent out a single outgoing invoice since I started my business two years ago, and I didn't go ahead and register for sales tax on my own at the start of this year?
I'd really appreciate any help you guys could give me.
