Anušić went off on Pupovac, claiming he’s the one behind this whole mess.
I get that election season is hitting hard, but I wonder what Plenković and Pupovac are even going to say about this...

So, get this: Minister Alard’s wife just landed a job as the manager of one of those big pools in Washington, D.C. He’s out here claiming it has absolutely zero connection to the Republican Party... like, heaven forbid there's any link at all. Claims she just applied through the standard process like everyone else. ☕
What a joke. These fake jobs are getting ridiculous... And they even have directors for the pools too? 😁

Noah Perez5 said:Well, he mentioned Restart. But you have to remember that Restart is essentially just a coalition.

I suppose Restart could potentially fall apart, leaving behind nothing but the Democratic Party, the American Peasant Party, the Reformists, the HSU, Snaga... and a whole bunch of minor players. 🙂

If Bero went rogue and joined a coalition with the Republican Party alongside the Democratic Party—effectively killing off the Restart alliance—it would be straight-up political suicide. And honestly, I don't think he's planning that. He isn't quite that stupid...

Ashley Brown3 said:And what exactly do you expect? Do you think any Republican Party supporter—especially a spineless, power-hungry sycophant like Bačić—is actually going to admit the party will team up with Vulkan Pupovac or IDS once the elections are over?

Campaign rhetoric is one thing; reality after the votes are counted is something else entirely...

I'm not expecting it. He didn't even say who he *would* work with, just who he wouldn't. Not that it matters anyway, obviously. But it is pretty interesting that he didn't mention staying away from Milan Škoro...

Nancy Gomez26 said:That leaves the DP and... well, the Democratic Party. Let’s not underestimate Plenković’s ability to maneuver through such scenarios. He has proven himself to be quite a creative operator when his own seat is on the line; he knows that if he doesn't manage to assemble a government now, he likely never will again. Personally, the man seems indifferent to everything else. He's acting like a drowning man who would grab onto any floating debris just to keep his head above water.
The Democratic Party finds itself in a similar predicament, making this look like a potential win-win situation.
The real question for those parties is how they intend to vote over the next four years—assuming they even last that long—but that is a problem for a much more distant day.

Honestly, nothing can surprise us anymore. We're about to see a massive wave of self-preservation from all these political "leaders," more so than the parties themselves. It's pathetic, really.

The only thing that really rubs me the wrong way is how Plenković keeps tearing into Zoran Bernardić while being weirdly soft on Milan Škoro.

He basically admitted they know exactly who they won't work with—the Democratic Party and the Libertarian Party. So, yeah, it's the Republican Party. Not exactly breaking news at this point...

Man, honestly, this could be the topic of the day tomorrow. It’s actually pretty good how things are playing out—just a brand new Republican Party scandal every single day... Keeps people on their toes, I guess.

Just watched an awesome recap on Fox News about how this Cabinet has handled the last three and a half years. Absolute zero. Honestly, they’ve done more damage than good...

So, person just stood there at Arlington National Cemetery and said it without even blinking: Those people who want to downplay the fascist era.

Man, look how far we've fallen...

Charles Carter4 said:I mean, is this actually happening? Is it even possible that back in 2020, someone would just shut down a whole show simply because a viewer in the audience had the nerve to ask where a politician actually got their money from? 😲
I really hope this gets some attention over at the European Union—maybe our MEPs can finally step up and show everyone exactly who Elizabeth Warren and Andrej Plenković really are.

This definitely needs to reach the European Union. What is Šuica even doing over there? She's the Vice President of the European Commission for Demography and democracy. It's honestly pathetic... both for America and the EU, having someone like her representing us. 🤮

Beresov's response: No mistake found, probably just a virus thing. 🤦

The other day Mark Vučetić wrote on Facebook:

"The Republican Party needs to include all the Headquarters' activities in their campaign cost reports. Let everything be transparent. This is basically a Political epidemic spread headquarters. And it’s working for them. Working perfectly.
What a coincidence that this infection spreads and gets contained in perfect sync with the election timing for the party leadership! Not to mention how epidemiologically convenient that Sunday work ban turned out to be!"

The Republican Party knows exactly what they're doing...

Thank God the actual members are actually thinking for themselves and living in the 21st century.

You can say they live in the 21st century all you want. They’re just looking for whoever gives them the biggest kickback. The Republican Party is exactly what it’s always been.

Besides, Plenković will probably jump ship to Brussels the second an opening pops up. We'll see who they pick then...

Either way, Škoro is celebrating right now.

Did I seriously just say they’d try to blame "low turnout" on COVID? Please... there aren't even that many of them left, maybe 70,000 tops.
Well, at least we know it wasn't two hundred thousand. 🍿

Look, look... weren't the Republicans all whining about Plenković before? They were boycotting everything, acting like they hated the whole direction of the country. And now? Suddenly they changed their minds. Good grief, they’re all bought and paid for. It's nothing but self-interest at this point.

They didn't just pick Plenković; they picked his entire inner circle. Neither Stier nor Penava made the cut? Now that's interesting...

From here on out, we’re stuck living under the shadow of Plenković’s massive ego. He thought he was the Sun, but now he thinks he’s God!

Richard Scott said:Those damn bureaucrats... they’re promising everything will be strictly regulated and banned. They claim our lives are about to change forever, but...it doesn't start until tomorrow, because today they have to hold elections for their little criminal syndicate😠

Selfish scumbags. For thirty years, they've put themselves and their little cult above the rest of us in the USA...🤦

Oh, obviously. Everything is tailored to suit their own elections. Who gives a damn about us? Criminal organization, the whole lot of them. 😠
All just so Andrej Plenković can sleep easy at night.

If membership numbers drop, they’re totally gonna blame it on COVID... you know, playing the "older people were too scared" or "high-risk groups stayed home" card. Ha! Honestly, maybe that's exactly why they didn't push back the elections—so they have a built-in excuse for why the Republican Party membership has cratered. Keeps people from asking too many questions about what's actually going on...

Justin Fowler4 said:They're probably wearing those masks during the elections just so nobody can figure out who they actually are.

🤣Anyone wearing a mask is definitely voting for Kovač. 😁

Noah Perez5 said:I can't help but picture the party members having to head out to the polls today to cast their votes for those two blond politicians, even with the coronavirus concerns looming, just so they can protect their own jobs and cushy little sinecures.

And this is happening right when the Republican National Committee has been urging citizens to stay home and avoid any unnecessary travel if possible.

I honestly find myself caught between feeling a bit sorry for them or just laughing at the whole situation.

But oh well, I suppose at least the weather is nice.

Must be nice for them, but they’re basically risking infecting their families, coworkers, neighbors, friends, even the clerk at the grocery store.
They preach "responsible behavior" and telling us to avoid social contact, yet tens of thousands of Republicans are hitting the polls today.

They couldn't postpone it because apparently, this is the most important thing in the entire country. Disgusting.

Honestly, I couldn't care less which one of them takes over the Republican Party. First off, the party is a lost cause, and second, I can't stand either of them... they both annoy me in their own special ways.
But I gotta say, going into that debate, I was expecting what everyone else was thinking—that Andrej Plenković would just absolutely crush Kovač. But it didn't happen like that at all. Kovač actually held his own, while Plenković looked totally rattled and visibly nervous. He just stuck to his usual routine, rattling off all those "achievements" from his administration, throwing out numbers and basically just blah blah blah... same old story. Meanwhile, Kovač actually got to the point. I'm not even talking about who's telling the truth here, just the vibe... Plenković seemed like he was dodging questions and trying to slide out of topics. Even though he had way more airtime, but hey, that’s just how the moderator ran things.
I just wanted to point out that Plenković didn't shine nearly as much as people expected. And yeah, he was definitely ruder than Kovač (starting from the beginning when he wouldn't even shake his hand), way more arrogant, and used a lot more insulting language. He acted more condescending than anyone I've seen, yet he was clearly low-key panicking. Kovač seemed way calmer, which actually surprised me. That’s just how I saw tonight's debate play out.
