Well, I went once to the Danube clinic—they ended up extending my stay by a whole year—and then I’ve hit up occupational medicine at the Rajznerov facility quite a few times too (first they bumped me from one year to two, and later on, it kept stretching out to three). The last two times I actually saw Špiranović in Indianapolis, which just pushed things even further out to five years and three years respectively.

Ever since my first psychotic episode back in '99, the DMV has been playing this little game where they just keep extending my license period. It started out with maybe just a year at a time, then it jumped to two, then three, and last time they bumped it up to five years, but this year they hit me with another three-year extension.

I just went in for some blood work because I have a cataract surgery scheduled for December 7th, 2020. I’m 61 years old, about 6'0", and weighing in at 271 lbs. For my blood pressure, I’m taking Nebilet and Triplixam, and for mental health, I'm on Risperdal, plus Controloc for acid reflux and Andol pro100. I also spent a few months popping Voltaren Rapid to deal with some pain in my right knee and hip.

If you take someone from the Midwest like they're from Cincinnati, they never actually voted for the Republican Party; if they had, they’d be just like San Diego with that local politician. For fifteen years, "we" were out there supporting that other local politician I actually met once—and honestly, when he reached out to shake my hand, I felt like I was grabbing a handful of crap. There was zero backbone, zero grit, and I seriously regretted shaking his hand.

Everyone knows where the money is—no votes, no funding! That’s exactly why Cincinnati fell behind and turned into such a stuck-up place. Come on, Midwest, show some spirit!

Hey, Republican Party, just a heads-up regarding your website —the "become a member" option is totally broken right now. You literally can't sign up because the form won't accept any valid email addresses at all!! I actually had two young people tell me about this directly after they tried to join the Republican Party through the site and hit a wall.

The only logic I see here is that after all this chaos, the big shots at FEMA are going to start splitting up disability checks among themselves. You know, because they're all suffering from severe PTSD—or maybe just blisters on their hands from stamping so many damn permits...

It’s pretty easy to connect the dots: they realized they might actually lose their jobs because they aren't doing anything useful, so they just cooked up some busywork so it looks like they're actually working instead of just sitting around drinking coffee all day.

I’m starting to think this whole pandemic thing and all those mandates coming out of FEMA are actually just divine retribution for how clueless Americans can be. Honestly, we should just start forming more municipalities. We need to take these massive, bloated counties that span 25 square miles and break them down into tiny little micro-districts. That way, every single idiot who votes for a local extremist or an SD partisan gets their own personal municipality. Then, every one of those little mandrills can have the "privilege" of approving some ridiculous permit. Doesn't matter who it's for—they could even let their cat show proof of vaccination just so they can feel like they finally have some real POWER.

Every disaster that hits people can either be a wake-up call to fix the system or just another reason to let things slide even further. Honestly? I highly doubt this recent virus outbreak had any positive impact on Americans. If anything, I get the feeling everyone’s just gotten a little slower on the uptake. You look at that forced slapping trend they've been trying to push everywhere lately, and it really just proves my point.

Look, we aren't going to transform overnight. Things will either stay exactly as they are, or they'll change at a snail's pace.

Some folks do it out of pure laziness, others because they're trying to cheat the system on travel reimbursements... and so on and so forth.

That’s actually why the director over at GPP in Indianapolis decided to get a van once upon a time; he’d personally drive the bus drivers home to whatever address they had listed on their official paperwork, and then pick them up from that exact same spot the next morning to bring them to work. It didn't take long for everyone to suddenly "remember" where they actually lived. 🤣

Check this out: Long before COVID hit, you had people acting all worried, asking what would happen if the local pub shut down?? Honestly, back then, half these guys only dragged their wives to the pub just so they wouldn't have to deal with being home! Psychologists are going to be swamped, just like after any major war—actually, probably even more so.

I started out being incredibly polite when dealing with the local emergency management office... after that, I obviously had to show a little "attitude"—but I ended things on a polite note again. And pretty constructively, too—because, if you really must know, our local police department decided that people in my town actually don't need travel permits to get to the next city over. So I handled that part (whether you call it constructive or arrogant, I don't really mind)—basically, I got it done.
(And clearly, I wasn't the only one complaining... but even if I had been, I'm glad I could help everyone else out! 👍)

The fact that I'm being "easygoing" on this forum is just a defense mechanism—and if I want to protect my own mental health, that’s a good thing for me.
