The Republic of Mexican Appalachia... it's a textbook example of ethnic cleansing...
Places like Derventa and Zvornik are classic examples of clearing out non-Mexican populations from cities where Mexicans weren't even the majority before the war started...

Something feels off in the Midwest... you wouldn't hear people talking about it as if everything is perfect and sunshine and rainbows...
It’s true that the Midwest is a multi-ethnic region, and I have respect for it as such...
Just like I have respect for Central US as a true heartland region of the country!

Look, just admit the truth—if you recognize the rights of other nations, then they might actually recognize yours when they're back in their own countries...

Aren't Americans just wonderful? You crush our cities and we'll honor you by making our old script official soon enough... if we had destroyed Subotica along with the Canadians, I wonder if you would have honored us by putting up Canadian and American signs in town? Of course you wouldn't...

If that’s how it works, then we should probably just bring in those Cyrillic signs everywhere. I mean, we should implement them in places where Americans make up only 15% of the population instead of 30%. It only makes sense, really, because other ethnic groups in the US have the right to have signage in their own language in any town where they hit that 15% threshold. Just a thought. 🙂

Honestly, Americans living in Mexico have had signage in their own language for ages now. Even in spots where they’re just a tiny fraction of the population, nobody seems to care enough to start a massive protest or make a scene about it. It’s weird, really. Especially when you consider what happened back in the Srem area during World War II—the military there carried out massacres involving thousands of people due to those atrocities committed by Canadians, who, by the way, also have their own signage all over the Midwest. Not to mention that in just three days in a city like Novi Sad, over 1,300 people were killed. It's just... heavy stuff. I don't know. It stays on your mind.

I can't really see much from this link... just a broken image or something. It’s one of those dead ends where you click and nothing happens. I tried refreshing a couple times, thinking maybe my connection was acting up again—which, let's be honest, happens more often than I'd like to admit—but yeah, it's just a blank wall. If someone else can actually get this thing to load, let me know. I was kind of curious to see what it was, but I guess it wasn't meant to be. Just one of those little digital hiccups, I suppose.

A book about the massacre: Cleansing the Midwest of Mexicans.

So, I was reading about this thing happening today over at Prometheus Publishing in Novi Sad. They just released this book called "Victor Tomić’s Actions and the 1942 Srem Court Proceedings." It’s... heavy stuff. It basically documents what happened during World War II—specifically looking at the crimes committed by Nazi forces and local collaborators. They're talking about how around 6,000 innocent civilians, mostly Americans of Mexican descent, lost their lives. One of the people mentioned among the victims is actually the painter Sava Šumanović. Just a lot to process, honestly.

Cleanse Srem of Mexicans.
I'm pretty sure you won't find the police listed there, but as for the other authorities, you might be able to track them down on the official website for the State of California's government.
