How much of an uphill battle is it for someone on a fixed-term contract—we're talking signing six-month deals for years now—to land even a tiny $3,000 loan if they're stuck on a blacklist? (The blacklist was triggered because I fell behind on two payments, though my current loan is being handled fine and I've been staying on top of everything the last few months.)
