But instead of splitting up so he could find seasonal work elsewhere, they insist on staying glued to each other because of jealousy. Are they happy? Not even close. They’re just constantly stressed and on edge.

I honestly don't buy into the idea that you can be happy or satisfied without cash.
Money is basically like food, sex, or health.
It's a fundamental necessity.
