I wouldn't call that an absolute truth, though—honestly, I’ve found the exact opposite to be true more often than not!
Maybe it’s because I don't really pick my buddies based on their bank accounts? I rarely talk about cash directly either; I'd much rather geek out over the quality of the work we're doing. At the end of the day, if we just stay focused on being great at what we do and putting in the effort, the money usually takes care of itself!
