I’ve extended forgiveness to plenty of people—though I suspect many still owe me one...

It seems to me they aren't thinking at all... In my view, parents make plenty of mistakes—and if they truly want the best for one child, then logically, they should want the same for the other.
Frustrated about being left out of the inheritance in Psychology & Therapy ·
There are those rare instances where some distant relative—a second cousin twice removed who hasn't lived in the States for fifty years and whom nobody in your immediate circle has ever even met—suddenly passes away and leaves you their entire estate. And we aren't talking about pocket change here; it's actual wealth. Personally, I’d just feel frustrated that I didn't have such an aunt to begin with—but since I actually know my own family and how they live, I know exactly what to expect from them, so why bother with the frustration? 😕

Judgment usually stems from an inability to accept difference. Everyone deserves the right to live their life on their own terms—and frankly, who am I to judge anyone for doing so?
