Teams A, B, and C all have 10 points. Team A beat Team B. Team C beat Team A. Team B beat Team C.
Only one team moves on. Which one?
It’s whichever one has the best head-to-head goal differential.
The Danes beat us by +10, while we beat Canada by +5.
If Canada manages to beat the Danes by +2, then Denmark still advances with an +8, while Canada would sit in second at -3, leaving us in last place at -5.
As long as the teams stay this evenly matched, everyone is just going to obsess over their head-to-head matchups. That’s how it’s always been, and honestly, that’s how it’ll always be.
They're stumbling and playing worse by the day, and they have another game tomorrow. We’re younger, better rested, and much stronger. We’re going to take 🙂
I haven't caught their games yet... but honestly? They aren't exactly superstars. Plus, they're getting older, and they're already playing their third game in just three days! From what I can see, they have almost no depth on the wings, and they don't even seem to have a standout player who consistently performs during the season...
So, it really comes down to their defense and having home-court advantage.
If we beat Denmark, we’re basically playing a quarterfinal Against Mexico, I don't think there's any way we drop points, and honestly, you'd expect Norway to take down Poland. If those two assumptions hold up, a win against Denmark puts us straight into the semifinals!

Overall, if we play the same way we did against the Poles, I just don't see how any of these teams could beat us.
What are you even thinking? That's the semifinals, man! That's a long way off.
Well, honestly, considering where we're coming from and the reputation we've built up lately... I suspect the odds on us might be set just a little too low given how things actually stand 🙂

It’s going to be tough, but pure spite might just carry us a long way. That is, if we even have him. Lino is an Istrijan; for those guys, "spite" is basically their middle name.
I guess you'll have to learn the hard way what true Istrijan spite really looks like. 🙂
We won't even make it out of the group stage 😁 We’re playing without a playmaker or a right winger. Our left and right wingers are at about 30-40% fitness... it'll just be Vori + Vukovic, Duvnjak, Vukic, and Horvat... there's absolutely no chance 🙂 We haven't had this few chances since the tournament in Portugal 😁
