Kids might actually enjoy this one, though the plot feels like something a toddler dreamed up. Luckily, they hired some top-tier voice talent to save it! 🙂
Man, what a week! I’ve been out of town for the last three days, so I’m totally lost on everything that’s going down here. 😠
Remember how we absolutely crushed it at the NCAA tournament? Where are those detailed recaps?
I honestly can't believe there's zero depth on this roster. 🤮
No, seriously though. How are we supposed to function without our star playmaker? What does our starting lineup even look like now? It's probably Miller - Thompson - Davis - Anderson - some guy on the right wing? (And where's Smith?) - Jones? At this rate, we aren't even making it past the first round. 🙏
It just doesn't look good. Our players aren't even that old yet, but they're all banged up from injuries. I feel especially bad for Jackson. When he’s at a hundred percent, he is hands down the best left winger in the world—I've always said that, and I stand by it.

Bangoura from Dynamo Kyiv isn't bad, and Feindouno is top-tier for me... I also know that Mansare guy from Toulouse. But wait... are we talking about THE Kaba Diawara? 🤣
All things considered, they don't even look average.
Edward Wood64 said:Precisely. They essentially stumbled their way past Nigeria during the previous qualifiers, much like how Togo benefited from being grouped alongside Senegal.
Oh man, you're right, there's just no way 😲 what a shame, it actually wouldn't hurt if Emmanuel Adebayor took a month-long vacation 👋!
Honestly, those three teams are definitely on the decline, and Morocco is right there with them... plus, Angola was never actually a powerhouse to begin with, so they aren't really "falling" from anything 🙂
mistycyclist51 said:They definitely aren't what they were five or six years ago... but honestly, just look at the roster for the national team... Tony Silva, Habib Beye, Ferdinand Coly, Souleymane Diawara, Issa BA, Papa Bouba Diop, Abdoulaye Fay, Amdy Fay, Henri Camara, El-Hadji Diouf, Mamadou Niang... they're still plenty good enough to be taken seriously.😉
They aren't trash, but they aren't even close to being one of the top teams in the Gold Cup. Relying on Diouf and Niang won't cut it.
Just my two cents here... the home team looks strongest, followed by Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and Cameroon. Then you've got Mali... whereas Benin, Zambia, and Namibia are definitely the long shots.
