Sure, maybe. Sometimes my mouth moves faster than my brain, which earned me a few choice nicknames back in the day... but look at me now. I’m a grown woman—actually, a mom—and apparently, this whole parenting thing is digging up virtues I didn't even know were hiding in there. Not to brag or anything, just trying not to sound too hard on myself. 😁
Man, they just don't click at all. But hey, I’m a slow learner, so I guess I’m just working on my impulse control one mistake at a time. 🙂 Hmm, well, I wouldn't call myself a professional accountant or anything—I just try to keep my own books straight. It's a work in progress, honestly!
hmmm... honestly, I wish my husband could just take care of all this gray matter stuff on his own (proud wife of 😁), because my mom is just way too sweet and naive for her own good 🙂... thanks for the shoutout!
Dubravka, congrats! As for the eye color thing... my son is turning 3 soon, and his eyes have actually started darkening lately—shifting from blue to brown. Well, hey, at least he’ll get something from his mom! 😉
Thanks, Carol Ward3, it wasn't actually that hard to crunch the numbers... I just totally misread the situation, which is why I was asking. It felt weirdly off to me. :-)
Can someone please explain this to me in plain English—is this "premium" card actually useless and just a total waste of money? Or let me rephrase that for the folks who deal with the IRS instead of some local tax office: can I just file my own returns and handle things for other people (assuming I have power of attorney) using my standard USB key?
I could really use some help from anyone who actually knows what they're doing here. I run my own small business, and I’ve been using the electronic filing system through FINRA to submit my reports. But honestly, where am I supposed to be storing all these files? People on this forum keep mentioning CDs and USB drives, but I have no clue what that’s actually supposed to mean for me. Every month, I just print out whatever I submit. This month, I used the Regos RSM form and it went through just fine, but now I can't find that exact same form to print and attach. I thought I saved it in a folder on my computer, but every time I try to open it, I get this error saying the format is invalid—so how on earth did it pass the submission?! I am completely lost. I tried calling FINRA, but it's useless; every single agent is "busy." It’s official: I’m a total tech dinosaur. At this rate, I’d rather just carry stacks of paper over to Regos and the IRS myself. 🙂
I’m feeling a little lost with this DMV website—I uploaded my registration, sent it off, and they rejected it for being "invalid." So, naturally, I just uploaded it again (is that a huge mistake or am I overthinking it?), and this time it went through perfectly fine. I tried calling the customer service line at 1-800-XXX-XXXX, but honestly, I couldn't get anyone on the phone to help me out. Does anyone know if doing that is actually okay, or am I totally screwed?
