The Department of Justice isn't really the issue—but I'll say this: those parasites would be cleared out in no time if there were a corrective force like the National Guard in place.

Honestly? I'm still a "no" on this one. I've met plenty of veterans who have seen it all—seriously great people—but even then, I just don't think we need to spin up another National Guard. To me, it still feels a bit too much like some sort of paramilitary group, you know? I might be totally off base here, but it feels like they’d just end up being a tool for the folks in power to settle scores with anyone they don't like. But hey, maybe I'm wrong.

The catch here is just that, for this specific instance, the Department of Justice would fall under the command of the new National Guard.

But honestly, I don't get why you'd bother setting up a whole new system when we already have the Department of Justice. And why on earth do you think they’d actually be independent—or any less susceptible to influence from old-school political hacks and shadow players—than the DOJ? I mean, come on... we all know how things work around here. It's always way too easy for people in power to just make a backroom deal.

Nah, we definitely don't need paramilitary groups hanging around—we've already got the military and the police for that.
