Anyone up for a chat? in Psychology ·

Sure, it might not solve everything, but when you finally have to face your problems head-on, you'll actually have the mental toughness to handle them 🙂 ...plus, looking better helps your confidence... speaking from experience here. Most people don't actually love sports; they just hit the gym because they want to look better or stay healthy... honestly, you should at least try finding something. I can't stand most workouts, but I eventually found something I absolutely live for... it's my escape, my whole world... I don't know how I'd survive without it, I probably would've spiraled pretty hard... and it's just me, no one else involved. Wishing the OP all the best and crossing my fingers for you. If you need a friend, I'm here.

If you’re out there moving every single day—biking, walking, running, hitting the gym, just staying active through work and everything else—you honestly don't stand a chance of falling into depression... sure, you might feel a bit more serious or down sometimes, but that ain't real clinical depression....so just try to move as much as possible, you'll be healthier, look better, and probably get more action too....
The Winner's Mindset in Psychology ·
You know that thing about an ant? You put your finger right in its path and it just finds a way around—it’ll climb over you or pivot out of the way. No matter how many times you block it, that little guy isn't quitting. 🙂That’s what I call a winner's mindset.

Honestly, it feels like your goals just aren't hitting the spot for you lately. Thank God there are endless, endless possibilities out there to crush it, and I really think you need to let yourself dream big and just fantasize a bit, because that's what actually feeds your soul. 😉
