Look, I know I’ve got flaws. Probably some people here have worse, but nothing too crazy.
Basically, I’ve been pretty miserable since my early 20s. I can't figure out what my purpose is, where I fit in, or what I'm even doing on this planet.
That goes for dating, friends, and just general life stuff.
Long story short, how do you "get right with yourself" when you're:
-not a great person, in general—just not someone I'd want to be around.
-pretty unhappy, dealing with issues at college that I've spent a ton of money on but still haven't finished...
-not the type to just grind and study 24/7, though I'm not stupid (college isn't the best metric anyway, given how much everything went sideways)....
-clumsy as hell, basically all thumbs.
-coming from a pretty broke background.
-stuck with an oblong face and a big nose that's paired with significant balding—it's a killer.
-socially awkward...
-quiet, but once I actually open up, I usually just end up venting.
And there's plenty more.
Bottom line, I don't see anything positive here.
Physical appearance—it sounds cheesy, I know, but beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Right now, you're being way too hard on yourself. Find one thing about your look that you actually like—your eyes, anything—and try to embrace it.
College—listen, plenty of students get stuck or hit roadblocks. It really comes down to your mindset and how much you decide you're going to push through. Try setting tiny goals. Just aim to pass one single class next semester. Starting small will give you that little win you need to keep moving forward.
Work—not everyone is built for manual labor. You might be a total genius at something else entirely. Nobody is meant to be good at everything.
Growing up broke—man, like 80% of us were in that boat. Money comes and goes; it's there today and gone tomorrow.😉
