Psychotropic medication discussion thread in Psychology & Therapy ·
Exactly.
It's actually possible for women to experience lactation while taking it.
But honestly, you’d be better off waiting for crimsonhound80 to weigh in; they really know their stuff.
Primarily, it's categorized as an antipsychotic, but when used in higher doses, that's its main role. In smaller amounts, it tends to act more like an antidepressant and helps with calming things down.
Then again, that's just my own limited perspective...
I haven't taken it in quite a while...

It seems like you’re letting a single little comment get under your skin.
I know how it is... it’s never easy to just step back and say, "Okay, my bad, let's move on."
Good luck to you, though...👋

From what I can see, you haven't actually shared any advice here. For someone talking so much about contributing, there isn't much substance...
Honestly, this conversation could probably keep moving along just fine without your input.
I'm sure there are plenty of other people here who actually know a thing or two about these medications...

Are you kidding me right now?
Go ask some amateur for help.
Maybe some basic weed might do the trick...

Did a neurologist or a psychiatrist tell you that?
Do you happen to know the specific name of the diagnosis, or maybe the code they used?

You know, redranger2, maybe crimsonhound80 does deserve some credit for starting that thread.
But honestly, their grasp on the subject seems pretty limited. We saw that clearly during the discussions about Akathesia and Zeldox.
I just don't think someone can really weigh in on pharmacology until they've put in a bit more study and education...
I've had enough! in Psychology ·
The most important thing is just making sure you have a solid plan for where to hide the body. Everything else—the method, the timing—is secondary. And you really have to reassure us that once it's tucked away, nobody is ever going to stumble upon it...

How does it actually work?
In what way does it help?
Or does it just get you high?

Let’s try shifting the focus toward the idea that no one will ever find you after you're gone. Just dwell on that concept... how to end things so completely that you remain undiscovered.
Once you finally land on a solution, the urge to do it might just fade away...
Come on, let's hear some ideas!
How to make a suicide look impossible to trace!

If I recall correctly from one of those old threads about antipsychotics, I really don't have a clue...

I think it was around $43 here in the States...

I wonder what would actually happen if you didn't step on those floor tiles in the center of the plaza using an equal number of feet for each color...
What is your body's natural baseline? in Psychology ·
Man, granitefalcon26, you really can't seem to let that physical stuff go, can you? It’s like it's constantly on your mind, no matter how much you indulge...
I honestly can't tell if you're just going through a dry spell or if you've gone a little overboard with the whole thing.🤣
Maybe take a breather for a second. It's all just sex, sex, and more sex...

There are about 100 different phases to my life.
I’ve always been someone who needs to stay active; I just can't stand being bored. It’s really not in my nature to sit still.
I truly love what I do for a living, though I wouldn't say I'm much of a people person when it comes to socializing. I enjoy heading out for a drink now and then, but I also cherish those moments when I can sneak in a little nap during the day.
I have a real appetite for trying new things... as long as they don't become overwhelming.
So, I guess it boils down to a bit of an adrenaline rush followed by some hard work, and then settling down with a little indulgence. That's pretty much the gist of it...
People and their weirdness in Psychology ·
Most people just take the path of least resistance because they don't want to make life any more complicated than it already is.

No. No way. I actually thrive on a little bit of friction... I've never been one for just going along to get along.
Melpy... honestly... you're just kind of boring. You should probably steer clear of people as much as possible so they don't have to deal with all that dullness.☕
Am I being too harsh?😁
Depression or something else? in Psychology ·
I was just wondering if you two have been together for about a year and two months now🤣.
That’s pretty sweet. So, basically fourteen months?
Anyway, it doesn't really matter—I don't need an answer or anything.

Regarding your boyfriend and that lack of motivation he's showing...
Until he truly understands what’s going on deep down, you probably won't be able to force him to see a psychiatrist.
The only way would be to try using an ultimatum, but that can easily backfire.
Maybe try explaining things differently. Tell him how his behavior is making you unhappy in the relationship...
Let him know that it's frustrating you and preventing you from being happy, and suggest that seeing a doctor is just a small, manageable step toward improving both his life and yours.
It’s really just a conversation that might take an hour or so to start with.
Tell him that if the doctor confirms everything is fine, then you’ll accept his lethargy and stop pushing...
