Americans don't want to fund the church

But that's not my point! My point is about the sheer arrogance—or rather, the lack of conviction—behind these beliefs. They try to act all superior by basically spitting on anyone who holds a different view.
Strip away the money aspect, and you'll see the exact same crowd attacking and belittling the church, faith, the Bible, or the Christian way of life. Take away the financial argument, and they'll just pivot to something else. It never ends.
It’s so common to see believers judging anything that doesn't align with their worldview. They act as if other people's lives are their business, and honestly, isn't that exactly what irritates those who aren't particularly religious?
