Small town - the smallest municipality in America in Close to Politics ·
The smallest municipality in the country—just a tiny small town. $45 million later, twenty-five years on: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXQ0...ature=youtu.be
I have this suspicion that being smart or being dim doesn't actually change how someone looks. My guess is that physical appearance is totally decoupled from intelligence—there’s just no correlation there.

Take Darwinian conditions, for instance. There are certain physical traits associated with those specific genetic profiles. But even then, the look itself isn't tied to intelligence; rather, both the appearance and the cognitive level are just simultaneous results of a person's genetic makeup.

Besides, I think "intelligence" is such a massive, vague term. We all know there are different types of intelligence out there. It seems to me that everyone is naturally more capable in whatever area they have the most experience in. Someone might be incredibly sharp, yet still make a terrible call simply because they're working with incomplete information.

The IQ tests themselves are a perfect example. I haven't gone looking for the actual studies, but I’d bet anything that the average person would score much higher on an IQ test after ten tries than they did on their first attempt.

To me, you can spot intelligent people by their mental bandwidth—their ability to articulate ideas, build an argument, and follow a logical thread.
