From PayPal...

With the card, you have to withdraw the money to PayPal first
so you can spend it via PayPal and use the card that way.

Otherwise, you'll have to send them a photo proving it's debit so they can fix it manually. Though, if the name doesn't match up, that might cause a headache...

Look... right next to the CVV, in tiny white letters on a red background, it clearly says
prepaid

At this rate, we'll probably find them embedded in shovels and garden tools soon enough.
