Anyone still running Windows 7?
in Software ·
To keep it brief,
I'm currently running a pirated version of Windows 7, but I just started my own business.
Now I need to pick up a legitimate copy of Windows 10.
The catch is I have some old software that won't run on Windows 10, so I still need Windows 7 too.
It’s some web apps built using classic ASP (IIS), and the newer versions of Windows don't support that old ASP anymore.
Does an IRS audit care if you're using an old OS, provided you have the receipt for the new one even if you haven't installed it yet?
Or is there maybe a better way to handle this?
Edit: Should I go with retail or OEM?
