Look, I basically just lowballed it by about 7%...
That’s pretty easy math. The Black and Gold Army is currently beating them by 50.23% in sheer numbers and 20.28% when it comes to choreo—though their chanting has never really been their thing, where the Bad Boys actually hold a 48.23% lead. So yeah, the Black and Gold Army is ahead by 22.28%, but they’re definitely on a downward trend.
It's simple—Miami is a city of 100k people while New York is sitting at 10m...
During their peak seasons (anytime since 2000), Hajduk would pull in an average of 15-20k fans per game, whereas Dinamo usually hovered around 10-12k...
When Hajduk played Dnipro, they had 30k people showing up, while even during Dinamo's best days, they'd only see maybe 10-15k...
Miami is further away from most cities where the league plays, yet they still show up in bigger numbers for away games...
At the Black and Gold Army Cup, you'll see 4k people, whereas at your little local matches, it's way less than that...
As for the choreo, I don't recall Dinamo ever doing anything decent with paper cutouts—nothing even remotely comparable to what we do here...
And honestly, the other Bad Boys' displays aren't much to look at either...
Regarding the chanting, that’s all subjective, but to me, the Black and Gold Army songs just hit harder than those repetitive "Go Dinamo" chants or that whole "we love Dinamo" nonsense... or when the North side is screaming for Dinamo and the rest of the stadium is just yelling Chicago...
But yeah, the Bad Boys are louder, which is their one big advantage—300 Bad Boys can somehow make enough noise to sound like 3k...
I can't really weigh in on this specific group since I'm not part of either crew...
But even if being loud is a plus for the Bad Boys, I still feel like the Black and Gold Army is superior overall...
Maybe I'm totally off base, who knows? That's why I'm asking a real Bad Boy to chime in...
