Is death actually natural? in Psychology ·
Andrew Price3 said:Honestly, what do I see? I see tears frozen in eyes. I see screams muffled by the strength of character. I see kindness buried under survival instincts. I see hearts wounded by the cold sting of disappointment. I see a world that desperately needs compassion, understanding, and someone willing to listen. How can we reach a better system, or better relationships between people, if not through the one thing we lack most—the very reason the world is the way it is? Love. Not technology that provides free energy, not crime prevention, not organic food or medical care... but love and the improvement of human connection. Because from that foundation, technology, medicine, and security can actually be realized.

Through that kind of consciousness... even just one person is enough to make the Matrix tremble.

Man, you're something else... do people like that actually exist? Or are you just really good at talking?🙏 🙂

Is that actual experience talking, or just faith? If we're really His children, then where is He? I assume He's somehow displaced, like we're all just living parallel lives alongside Him? And if so... isn't that basically polytheism? Can anything actually exist alongside or outside of Him? Is He an object or a subject? The questions just keep piling up...
Just show me the way. That's the only thing that matters.

Yeah, there are endless questions. I've spent plenty of time overthinking it, studying everything under the sun, but everything in this world seems to contradict itself. You can overanalyze and brain-drain yourself until you're just left with a tangled mess of neurons.😁, whereas the truth is usually plain and simple, right in front of us. Maybe the answer isn't more thinking, but more doing. Just dive into something. Try actually living out a faith—mine happens to be Christian—and see if it brings peace or if the pieces finally click into place.

Just let go of the universe, let go of the creator's dream, and even let go of that ultimate entity we call the Creator.
The root of every single problem is just a dream within a dream. But honestly, forget that too—it's just a massive drain on your energy and focus.
Ask yourself: "Who am I? Am I just the sum of my thoughts, emotions, and senses? Does the 'I' actually depend on them?"
Think about what it means when they say "the kingdom of heaven is within you"... or that "the place we seek is the very place from which we are seeking."
Or take the prophet's words: "he who does not know himself, does not know God."
Are these just untouchable metaphysical metaphors meant only for some elite few?
No need to go further. Just lay all the cards on the table.
It's not us against them. It's love. 🙂

We're all God's children. God is love. Arrogance is the only thing jamming the antenna we all have to reach Him.

Dogs are like most other animals—they don't have that deep psychological complexity; their internal programming is way simpler than ours. The only thing that actually experiences "restlessness" is a human being. And the reason is simple: we can't control what we own—this body hardware and this mind software—yet we insist on identifying with them. A man doesn't possess thoughts; rather, thoughts and emotions possess him. It’s basically like that story about how it took a dolphin two days just to teach a guy how to stand by the pool and toss it fish. 😁

Honestly, I don't get what part of this whole dog story is still confusing.

And look, Michael Gonzalez77, you don't need to be some high-level psychological machine to feel restless. All it takes is a basic nervous system reacting to a threat.

Dogs are animals, plain and simple. They don't have complicated internal wiring like humans do. The only creature that truly suffers from being "restless" inside is man. It’s all because we can't control what we own—our physical bodies and our minds—yet we insist on identifying with them. A person doesn't "have" thoughts; rather, thoughts and emotions happen to inhabit a person. It's like that ridiculous idea that a dolphin would need two days just to teach a human how to stand by a pool and toss it a fish. 😁

Honestly, I don't get why people are still struggling to understand this whole thing about the dog.

My cat gets restless too. He'll be lying there perfectly calm, then suddenly his ears perk up, he stares at something invisible right in front of him (I never see what he's looking at), and that's it. If a stranger walks in, he gets agitated. Just like that.

Michael Gonzalez77 said:Look, he isn't actually lost. He’s just like a dog—he isn't out there hunting for some "inner peace" or finding it "in Jesus" (if you even believe his word). The point is, peace isn't some destination you arrive at. Peace is probably reserved for those "rest in peace" types—people who act like they're alive but are really just dead inside, or maybe they've just completely numbed their nervous systems because they're too busy obsessing over their own damn energy.

And how do you even know a dog has peace in him? For all you know, he's a total wreck on the inside, boiling over, just choosing not to show it to you.

Michael Gonzalez77 said:Is peace actually the same thing as the "Kingdom of God"? Not quite. Peace isn't the finish line; it’s the starting blocks. You can't get anywhere without it. Only someone who actually carries peace inside them can build any kind of meaningful quality of life. It’s the foundation. If you don't have that internal stillness, you aren't even going to be able to sit down and enjoy a meal, let alone get your work done right.

Look, people back in the day—all over the map, really—they had peace. They lived their lives. But if you asked them about finding the Kingdom of God? They wouldn't have known what you were talking about. It just wasn't on their radar.

So, is this actually anything more than just being quiet? My dog has peace. My neighbor’s parrot has peace. Is there really something deeper to all this, or is it just empty talk?

It’s there. That peace you find in Jesus.

Michael Gonzalez77 said:So, based on what you know—or think you know, or whatever hypothesis you've cooked up—what exactly does "the kingdom of heaven" mean to you?

First, it's peace of mind. Inner peace, if you want to get deep about it. Finding that calm right here in the middle of the fight, and then again after the physical body finally gives out.

I used to be just like Benjamin Taylor6, some kind of freakish anomaly in the world... I read everything, picked apart every single thing, found every logical flaw and objection imaginable. Just one example after another.👍

Look, you’ve gotta focus on the kingdom of heaven first. Everything else? It just falls into place naturally.
