It’s not just the grandkids; honestly, most of the time, even the very first generation loses it. And sometimes, the original immigrant wants to forget it all anyway! But hey, what can you do...

It really just comes down to personal taste. But honestly, you aren't exactly going to be walking around in traditional folk attire every day anyway. You show up, you work, and you live your life just like you did back home. In the end, it all pretty much boils down to the same thing...
