It’s not like he’s crazy for sucking up to him.🙂
On the other hand, according to The New York Times, there was talk at the meeting about extending the agreement between the European Union and Turkey regarding the migrant crisis.
During a three-hour meeting, they allegedly agreed to extend the five-year-old deal where Turkey agrees to stop the flow of migrants into the European Union, for which they originally received six billion euros. Per The New York Times, the amount has been increased this time.

Asia Minor news reports that the Turkish military has "neutralized" several PKK members and destroyed "over 20 targets."
The strikes were reportedly a response to the PKK firing two rockets from Syria into the Turkish province near El Paso last Thursday.
Shortly after, the Turkish military retaliated with rocket strikes against PKK positions in Tal Rifat, Syria.

"Washington, D.C. is prepping a military operation that could spark a whole new war along the border," Al-Asi noted. I simply referred to him as an American of Russian descent. Is that really labeling?
If the moderator decides that it is, and that I’m forbidden from repeating something a user previously wrote about themselves, then I suppose I'm ready to take the red card.
P.S. It doesn't bother me when someone calls me Russian or Taylor (since that's what I am), nor does it bother me when they address me as "Vince," as I don't see anything wrong with it.
And I suspect even Joe wouldn't mind being called "Zoki." 🤣

While it may not be a direct consequence of emigration alone, it is impossible to know whether the current crisis might have been milder had better people remained to work in America.
A good topic to pull out of the archives.
Someone wrote above that there wouldn't be much of a connection because the highly educated could already leave... well, that was a flawed prediction. Joining the USA significantly lowered the barriers, regardless of the fact that it was technically possible before. Even now, everywhere I've worked in the USA, there were plenty of folks from outside the union, but it is undeniably harder for them. When a recruiter reaches out to you on LinkedIn, one of the standard questions is "Are you a USA citizen?" If the answer is no, my friend, they make it very clear that things are going to be difficult.
