Shooting & Airgun Enthusiasts Corner in Other Sports ·
Thought I’d start a fresh thread here 🙂.
So, I'm currently on the hunt for a new air rifle or maybe even a shotgun. Right now, I’ve got a Norica Dream Rider 5.5mm, but I’ve also spent some time with older models like Slavias and Anschütz in the past. What I’m really looking for is a setup that offers solid precision, decent power, long-term durability, and—this is huge—parts that are actually easy to find.
Anyway, please feel free to jump in and share some constructive suggestions. I'd love to hear what you guys think.

Moderator, if this isn't quite the right spot for this discussion, would you mind moving it to the appropriate section? Thanks!
It recognizes the drive, but says it’s a RAW file system
The second I plug it in, it asks if I want to format it. I tried selecting NTFS to get it formatted, but Windows just won't finish the job.
I’m going to try everything I can and then I'll let you know. I already tested it on another computer and it still won't format. I haven't tried swapping out the cable or the tower itself yet, though. I'll check back in once I've given those a shot.
The thing is, I can't even get it to format! It’s basically a brick right now—I’m not sure if it’s just a bad cable or if the drive itself is shot. It’s a Transcend StoreJet 250 http://www.transcend-info.com/produc....asp?modno=284
Everything seems to be going wrong at once. Does anyone out there have any ideas or maybe some advice on how to fix this? 🙂

Hey everyone. So, I’ve got this 250 GB Transcend external hard drive—it's actually just a standard SATA drive inside. The problem is, my PC won't recognize it at all. I'm running a fresh install of Windows 7 and I've made sure all the necessary drivers are updated and ready to go.
I heard somewhere that you might be able to mod it and repurpose it as an internal hard drive instead.
If that's actually doable, could someone please walk me through how to pull that off? I'd really appreciate any help you guys can give me! 🙂
