Honestly, it seems kind of weird to me that she showed up just because she missed one pill. Even if you take all 21 pills on schedule, you don't exactly see results the very next day...
So, I'm looking at my own instructions right now, and they say spotting mid-cycle is totally normal during the first three months on the pill. But, if the bleeding gets heavy, we should definitely call the doctor.
Sadly, no... 🤷 I've actually forgotten my pill before and ended up taking it within a 12-hour window—once I even took it after 6 PM—and I never dealt with any spotting mid-cycle!
I was just asking my girls, but back home in the States, whenever you're invited over, you usually bring some coffee or cookies so you aren't showing up empty-handed... 🤷 there's no booze involved unless the hosts happen to be serving it 😁
Thanks so much for these guidelines, ladies! I definitely need to keep these handy... saved them to my laptop 🙂 At least now I know where we're starting
I always take mine on day 8, so I get a full 7-day break. Pretty sure the instructions say you gotta start the first pill on the same day of the week every single time too...
Honestly, mine will probably just be for 6 months since everything stops once we're waiting on the baby 🙂 but I'll let you know if the prescriptions get sent straight to the e-portal...
But whatever, if your prescription is good for 6 months, you don't even need two checkups a year. You just swing by after 6 months, ask them to extend it, and boom—you're done! 🙂
So, I usually have to grab a refill every six months, but my check-ups are only every twelve. Last time, I just showed up and they handed me a new script. Now I’m totally lost on how it's gonna work—I even bought my last box based on the old schedule! Lol. Anyway, I'm heading in for my appointment tomorrow to get everything sorted and see what the deal is with my new prescription.
At these weddings, it was all about the dancing—who wouldn't want to dance the night away with the bride and grab some shots together? If I remember right, at the last wedding, they did that right after the gifts 🤔 And honestly, this tradition is awesome! I’d probably tweak the whole bouquet toss part a little, but the concept is so cool 🙂
Mark Nguyen11 said:I actually considered skipping the bridal dance too. My reasoning was purely practical—my fiancé’s family isn't from the Midwest, so it wasn't really part of their traditions. But as I was chatting with people, I realized how much they were actually looking forward to it. Apparently, everyone had heard about how common this tradition is in the Midwest, and they thought it would be a great addition. So, I figured, if it makes everyone that happy, let's just do the dance. Plus, on a personal note, I think it adds a nice layer to the bouquet toss. Without the dance, the whole bouquet thing feels a little flat to me.
Robin Chase7If you're looking for wine, honestly, you could just head down to the cellars in a town like Napa or even some small spots in Sonoma. They have incredible selections there, and you can often buy it in bulk if that's what you need. Just ring a bell at any local spot or ask someone around town; people there live and breathe this stuff, and they’ll happily sell you a few bottles privately. It's a way of life for them. Just don't expect much variety outside of the classics like Chardonnay or Cabernet—those are the staples of the region.
Wait, what does the dance have to do with the bouquet toss? At the last two Midwest weddings I went to, those were totally separate things! 🤔
Man, my family is gonna be so confused when they see me dancing with a young girl! People around New York City have never even heard of this (at least none of the ones I've talked to) 🤣
If I remember right, they take a cut if you’re just transferring funds within Zillow, since it stays all in-house and they don't have to move it through external banks... 🤔
Yeah, if you pay later in the afternoon, they won't actually pull the funds until the system is back up, so expect it the next morning. Same goes for Friday afternoons—if you pay then, they won't grab the cash until Monday morning!
