Republican Party - General Discussion in Political Scene ·
It’s nice of them to finally remember to lift those isolation measures for their buddies in the Republican Party in Canada.
Rocks, rugged terrain, olives, wine, local spirits, the Mafia...

We aren't any better off than our neighbors in Mexico or Canada; as a society, we’re just as immature.
The SK has been replaced by the Republican Party, and Marshal Marshall has been swapped out for General Franjo Harmon, yet it's still the same party loyalists handling the hiring, the maneuvering, and the theft while the public just stands by and takes it.
It’s the exact same story in Mexico with Aleksandar Vučić and the SNS, or in Canada with Viktor Orbán and Fidesz..

Larry Wilson25 said:Look, Franjo Harmon definitely had his flaws when it came to political maneuvering—and yeah, even some of the military calls were questionable—but who knows what would've happened if someone else, someone without that "General" mindset, had been at the helm? Long story short, looking at the end result: the US is recognized within its borders and holds full sovereignty, and honestly, we don't even have the partial autonomy he originally suggested.

To be fair, during Operation Storm, we managed to establish that connection with NATO through the brigades, which was a huge win for his leadership. But then, we lost ground in Canada. And back home? We got absolutely fleeced by that massive wave of privatization, followed by the looting under Ivo Sanders.
The Republican Party basically used Harmon's legacy and that original inner circle to line their own pockets with serious cash—and let's be real, he was right there at the starting line with the founders, setting that whole system in motion.
We won the war, sure, but economically speaking, we took a massive hit. Now, we're basically being nursed back to health by the European Union with all their funding.

That’s why I think this whole "who's the biggest Harmon loyalist" fight within the party is just pointless. We have a functioning state, we're in the European Union and NATO... at this point, Clientelism and Corruption should be the main things we're fighting against.
If this party just dissolved—and hey, I'm rooting for Kovač here—our country would finally be able to breathe again.

I genuinely believe it doesn't matter whether the Republican Party wins, the Democratic Party takes over, or someone entirely new emerges, because this mindset is deeply woven into the fabric of our society.
Vehicle inspections, scheduling appointments, hiring your friends' kids or colleagues, treating officers and professors... all of that is considered perfectly normal and widely accepted regardless of worldview, religion, or ethnicity. Even a third option would likely corrupt itself very quickly; most people just look for ways to do the least amount of work while getting the most out of the system.

The moment power and high-ranking positions are on the line, friendships, colleagues, and unity all vanish. They stayed quiet about his criminal behavior for nearly 15 years out of professional courtesy, but now they’re ready to nail him just to save their own skins. It's classic mafia tactics.

That guy with the axe probably spent the rest of his life bragging about how he scared those cowards off. It’s a total thug mentality, just executed by complete idiots..

The club has a historic match coming up in Lisbon, yet all I see in the last few posts is people arguing about fascists, partisans, and who had which political symbol on their crest.😵

And here I thought they were just thieves; turns out they’re extremists at heart too.

Aaron Sanchez422 said:The point is, no anti-fascist can be against Mamić because he apparently loves the old regime so much that using the slogan "death to fascism" automatically puts you in his camp. It's a shame you aren't a fascist; if you were, I’d certainly be standing against him, since apparently only people in black uniforms oppose him. 🙂

Exhibit A.

Exhibit B.

– Everything is done with full transparency, yet look at how the fans operate. Look at the fan headquarters on Zvonimir Street and Drašković Street; there isn't a hint of blue. It's all black, looking more like some extremist club. Check what they sell there, or investigate who actually pays the taxes on those buses and the alcohol sales.

Mamić isn't crazy; he knows exactly what kind of scraps to throw to this mindless public to keep them hooked. He’ll play the revolutionary, the partisan, or the Republican—whatever suits his needs—just to line his pockets to the brim!

And you, Mr. Anti-Fascist, are clearly on the same wavelength as him. You and Joanna can go on a picnic together.

Let him buy you that apartment he promised. It'll benefit no one but you. "Anti-fascists" (proletarians) of the world, unite and enjoy sponsoring your benefactor. 👍

What does anti-fascism have to do with Mamić? Any sane person is an anti-fascist. Being anti-fascist doesn't make someone a communist; it just means they condemn Mussolini's and Hitler's militarism, which turned half the world into a graveyard through war crimes. He's simply exploiting the fact that most of the real Bad Boys are fascists to smear you in front of the public and discredit any movement against him.

The same people who help Mamica wash money through Dinamo are the ones who took out Pokrovac.. Even if Mamica were to go down, he’d never actually face trial.

I’m hearing some of you complaining about the turnout at the protest, or listening to those idiots claiming if they were at an Atlanta Braves game there would have been three hundred thousand people. I’d much rather see 300 people who actually give a damn than a massive crowd of posers who don't consider themselves part of the movement unless they've filmed twenty different clips on their iPhones.

It’s pathetic how a certain group of fans will do anything just to feel superior, even if it means standing in the bleachers with you tomorrow, just to act like they’re better than this trash.

Skip to 1:43... I’m dreaming of the day an LA FC player makes a gesture like that. That kind of heart is rare.

I actually forgot that was my main reason for checking out the video—seeing those Bad Boys in the stands in that clip.
