wanderingfox86 said:Why do we even have these isolation rules? And should those who are vaccinated be forced into quarantine too? You have to consider that being vaccinated significantly lowers your risk of side effects—or at least makes them much more manageable—and by doing so, you're actually reducing your likelihood of passing anything on to others.

I think you might have skimmed over my actual post... if you take a second to actually think about how transmission works, you'll see that these measures still need to be on the books... and honestly, if you're looking for answers on a random forum, you're looking in the wrong place since everything is being broadcasted clearly in the public sphere... just listen to Kajić...

Ronald Chavez2 said:The data suggests that vaccines primarily serve as protection for the individual receiving them, and they provide quite effective protection at that, yet any impact on preventing transmission seems to be marginal at best, so why should we rely on it for anything significant? My question remains the same.

Well, you basically answered your own question right there... if you just take a second to look over what you actually wrote...
I mean, obviously, a vaccine has a multi-layered impact... we have to look at the population as a whole... which really just means looking at a massive number of vaccinated individuals acting independently...

Ronald Chavez2 said:Fine, but how exactly can you claim the government is in the right here, especially when the health data clearly shows we've already identified the specific high-risk groups, meaning most people don't actually need any kind of protection from the virus?

Hmm... well, if you actually sit back and consider the fundamental mechanics of how a contagion spreads through a population, everything starts to make sense... which is precisely why those isolation measures were put in place in the first place...

It isn't an issue because, personally speaking, it doesn't affect me. My child is vaccinated.

Well, obviously you don't know... much like a few other things, apparently...
And look, nobody was asking about your child, nor was that what your previous comment was even about... I wasn't even questioning you on that... it really doesn't matter... anyway, have a good one...

mellowskipper said:Where exactly would you run to? I mean, plenty of kids aren't even vaccinated against TB right at the hospital, yet they're out living their lives—it's not like you can just retreat to the Rockies. Who knows, maybe it's exactly a kid like that sitting right next to mine in class...

Go ahead and explain why that isn't an issue, and give us some actual numbers on how many people are actually like that...

In reality, those with more severe symptoms act as the primary reservoirs. Stronger symptoms indicate a higher number of attacked cells. More attacked cells mean a higher viral load. The elderly and the immunocompromised experience more intense symptoms, making them the main hubs for accumulating and spreading the virus. Children are essentially the opposite. Why do you persist in spreading misinformation? Why would anyone try to pressure kids with needles?

You can tell someone else they're spreading information all you want... acting like whoever shouts first wins the argument... lol... what a joke... just because you're in the dark doesn't mean everyone else is too...
Yeah, you are spreading misinformation... and you're doing it quite deliberately, if you ask me... I only need to say it once, and any person with a shred of common sense will see right through it... 👍

Alex Edwards4 said:The data has already been processed and stands as it is. The issue is that these findings contradict your narrative, so you are fighting them tooth and nail. You are simply using Freudian rationalization to remain loyal to your preconceived notions. However, nobody cares about your narratives or your justifications. Formalized facts will always supersede intellectual constructs.

I mean, broadly speaking, that’s all true... but there's a catch. Given how this forum operates, and seeing how much energy goes into defending a specific viewpoint, aren't you just philosophizing about a subject you clearly haven't grasped? You're talking extensively about absolutely nothing, yet somehow convinced that you'll manage to persuade someone that you actually know what you're talking about. If that's the case, then the alternative is frankly a bit unsettling...

Alex Edwards4 said:Children are actually the key to stopping the spread caused by immunocompromised individuals. A child's immune system is robust enough to brush off a virus like a minor nuisance, picking it up from the environment after those with weakened systems have introduced it. Most kids don't even show symptoms; they neutralize the virus at the very first line of defense. In reality, the true reservoirs for accumulating and spreading viruses are people like Xavier Becerra, who disregard health protocols, or those gripped by vaccine anxiety, where constant stress can compromise their own immunity.
And even then, nobody cares if Xavier Becerra or some other person chooses to get vaccinated, because everyone is free to protect themselves however they see fit.

So, why bother spreading misinformation, and why would you ever want to target children with needles?

Because you're talking nonsense... apparently viruses just manifest and spread through some kind of spiritual energy, I get it... they don't actually pass from one person to another... it's funny because on other threads here you guys provide these exhaustive 3D analyses of every tiny detail, yet somehow this obvious, transparent garbage completely escapes your notice... I honestly don't know... how you can even bring yourself to write such absurdities... I really don't.

I wonder if any of those self-appointed internet warriors have actually bothered to wrap their heads around why schools act as such perfect breeding grounds for viruses to just sit and simmer before spreading everywhere.

Bradley Collins32 said:Quick question for you: Since when did science become a monolith? If COVID "science" isn't supposed to be one-sided, then why did the mainstream media go into full overdrive to axe any opinion that didn't fit the official narrative? I don't think there's a single expert out there who could look Judge Judy in the eye and say anything other than the truth: this COVID "science" has nothing to do with actual scientific integrity or humanity. If that's the case, why should anyone ever trust Beros or Fauci again?

Science is supposed to be one cohesive thing, and the whole world seems to be pulling in the exact same direction right now... sure, there are dissenting voices, but they aren't the kind you're thinking of. Those little disagreements are just localized friction points in places like the UK, Australia, or various parts of Europe... roughly speaking... but hey, if you don't buy it, that's fine too.

I know, I know... you people love to cherry-pick what you hear, always missing the bigger picture and the necessary context... it’s just so incredibly predictable...

My point was that you seem focused on just getting the last word in on one tiny part of a sentence, almost like you're trying to outsmart whoever spoke last... and honestly, modern medicine is built on those same pillars of concrete numbers, scientific discovery, and empirical evidence... yet somehow, despite everything you write, it feels like you're still operating on pure faith...
It’s really not my fault if you can't quite wrap your head around that... there are plenty of people out there who feel the same way, and they aren't exactly busy lecturing anyone else about it...

Alex Edwards4 said:If they possess a healthy immune system capable of brushing off COVID without symptoms, then their chance of dying from the virus is essentially zero. In that scenario, you are simply exposing them to the risk of side effects, which can include death. That isn't an act of love; it is pure irresponsibility. Why would anyone choose to do that?

It’s because they actually trust science and modern medicine... and because those side effects people obsess over are either non-existent or totally trivial... it's the same old story where people like you try to use fear as a weapon, acting all hypocritical when you realize they’re simultaneously being given a whole cocktail of other medications and treatments that carry identical, if not worse, risks. They’re smart enough to know this isn't just about their own kid sitting in a doctor's office in Chicago... we aren't talking about you or your individual child here... I’ll say it one more time for the folks in the back... this is a numbers game. It's about how a virus spreads through massive populations in a tiny window of time... vaccination is prevention... pure and simple prevention... it's what you might call "controlled immunity spreading."
