I mean, I honestly think it’s kind of a bummer for the Big 5 that they don't get to perform in the semifinals.
Even when they actually land a decent song—which happens, I guess, though it’s pretty rare—the audience usually just doesn't really vibe with it.

Plus, if you look at the last ten years or so, even if they only relied on televoting, I guess no Eastern European country would ever win anyway.
The whole idea of bringing in those juries seems kind of pointless—it just feels like they made it easier for people to buy votes. 🤣

Just those shady Scandinavians and their neighborly voting patterns... they were always whining about some "Eastern Bloc" thing, too. Next year, everyone’s back at the contest just handing each other 12 points again. Honestly, I hope they all just melt away on those icebergs they live on.
They've always had this weird grudge against Eastern Europe—even way before the whole "USSR" bloc voting era started.
Back when Yugoslavia was still around, we were constantly getting the short end of the stick just because of pure prejudice, I guess.
Then after the Berlin Wall came down, they basically "gifted" wins to certain people, you know? Just because.
It's nothing but straight-up politics, even though they officially say politics isn't allowed at the contest.

Haha, I haven't really kept up with anything besides what's going on in Mexico and America, but honestly, that's kind of how I was last year too 😁.
