Brian Young5 said:So, it’s actually available? Yay! 🙂 Does it knock you out as hard as Seroquel, or is it a bit more mellow (if anyone here has actually tried the first one)?

It doesn't really help with sleep at all—at least not for me. Plus, it's indicated as an antidepressant, so it can actually be kind of stimulating. You might even run into some insomnia issues right when you start... you'll probably need
something to help you crash. It kicks in pretty fast, though. Good luck 🙂

Brian Young5 said:Right, it just clicked—I remember reading somewhere that maybe Abilify is the only one that doesn't cause weight gain as a side effect. I'm just not sure if it's widely available here or if anyone in this group actually uses it. Honestly, the thought of switching meds terrifies me. Seroquel worked perfectly for me, unlike that nightmare Zyprexa that kept me knocked out for three days straight, or Risperdal, which just left me feeling like a total zombie or completely wasted. Still, I'll run it by my doctor.
Anyone using Abilify?

Yeah, well, specifically Azolar—that's what they call it here. It doesn't cause any weight gain at all. If anything, I actually lost some weight while taking it.

Hey there. This might just be me shouting into the void, but I was wondering if anyone from the Indianapolis area—or somewhere nearby—would be down to hang out, chat, or whatever. Just being real here—I deal with some anxiety and all sorts of stuff. Anyway, I won't ramble on too long.

Hey there. Is anyone else here dealing with schizoaffective disorder—specifically the depressive type? Also, if anyone has actually tried using Azolla for it and wouldn't mind sharing how it’s worked for you, I’d really appreciate the insight. I'm just hoping I'm not the only one on this specific treatment plan. Thanks in advance.
