Rebecca Rivera3, I know a girl who keeps her MS in check through macrobiotics. She was in a really rough spot before—seriously bad—but once she switched over to macrobiotics, she actually started seeing some real recovery.

It’s a long read—but there’s a section in there that hits right on the nose regarding stress and hypersensitivity.
Interesting article, even if I personally find it a little hard to swallow.

Harold Anderson3, you sound incredibly coherent for someone dealing with that diagnosis and juggling so many meds 👍

I mean, you’d think a woman at this stage of life would know how to have a little fun 😉 😵
Too young? How can he be too young? He isn't even thirteen yet. 😲
I mean—what would you even want from him? A roommate or just someone to entertain you?

If you don't have an F diagnosis, you don't stand a chance with Morgan Campbell4. 😬
morning 🙂

what kind of divide is that? you either have it or you don't 😛

I just saw the manager and the host arguing about something, though I couldn't quite catch what sparked the whole thing. Later on, I noticed the host was throwing some shade my way too, but I couldn't make sense of the connection—so I just played dumb and acted like I didn't see 😬
Well, she didn't last very long anyway; she was only posting for a few days before getting banned.
Deva’s got fans following her across all the subforums 🙂

Hey everyone 👋 glad we finally have a chat going!
How do you deal with the horrors you see and hear? in Psychology & Therapy ·
Jamie Adams6 said:It's less active than some other subreddits, probably because I also mostly hang out in one specific thread (likely the same one you're reading). Honestly, even that "politics-adjacent" PDF is more interesting than the main feed, but whatever—I get what you mean.

my guess: spirituality, DZ, and maybe... alternative stuff? 🤔

or like, when a group of Americans gets a slap on the wrist after beating Luke Ritz because they're all part of the same crowd, getting light sentences just because of their hair color or the music they vibe to—and you're sitting there wondering when justice will actually catch up to people like us... 🎉ignorance is bliss.

this is a perfect example—not some far-off thing happening in another country, but right here, right now.
I mean, usually it’s just the thought of dying kids that really gets me down, but that whole horror story involving the bow? That one sticks with you.😢

Can you drop the link to that health thread? I can't seem to track it down myself.

Why? Look, if you're willing to put in that extra sweat equity, your chances of building something bigger—for yourself and beyond—actually go up. If your goal is just making enough to fund some travel, that’s honestly pretty doable. My own ambitions used to be way more intense—some were about the money, others were more about status (not even strictly about the cash). My only real advice is to have a Plan B ready. Don't let it crush you if Plan A falls through. Just find a new focus and keep moving.

We all thought that when we were younger. Honestly, even now, I still let myself daydream about it—though I'm realistic enough to know it's often just that, a daydream. I give myself the space to think that maybe I'm not just average, or that there's still time to do something unique—but I refuse to get depressed if it doesn't pan out. To be totally blunt, I really don't feel like putting in the sheer time and energy required to be "different" than I am right now. (And I'm not talking about the energy needed to work on my mental health—that's different. I mean things like grinding for a higher salary, being more social, or starting new projects I know I'm capable of.) At the end of the day, this is the real question you have to ask yourself: are you actually willing to put in the extra effort to become better than you are today?

I’d also say that when we're young, we all have these big dreams of a glittering future—planning out this perfect life, convinced we’re special and destined for "something bigger." And hey, some people actually are. But for the rest of us who haven't hit that mark? We probably need to take a second to audit our life plans and dial back the expectations a bit, just so constant dissatisfaction doesn't eat us alive. At the end of the day, you realize happiness is really found in the little things. Some days that’s easy to wrap your head around, other days it’s a struggle, but what can you do? You just keep moving. 😬

I mean, the guy probably started this page before he spent four years in a psych ward—so if you just step back one beat, you'll see how incredibly detailed his post actually is.
