Eric Ramos93 said:Hey, did you actually introduce yourself by name when you joined this Reddit thread?

I haven't! And honestly, I don't plan to.
I feel like that's something people should just assume for everyone on here, you know?

boldbadger1 said:Boldbadger1 and I are heading out for a drink—we’re planning to meet up at Central Park by the fountain around 7:15 PM. If anyone feels like joining us for a round, you're more than welcome to tag along.

We’ll hang out there for maybe 15 or 20 minutes first, then we'll post an update to let everyone know where we actually end up settling down.

I can't make it today. I have to head into work for my shift.

Friday is also looking pretty busy, so I won't be able to swing by then either. What's the plan for this Saturday night instead?

Alexander Adams94 said:Does everyone here actually care about me, or is it just Andrea?

It wasn't Andrea. To be honest, I have no idea who that is.

We love you.

We’ve been talking about you quite a bit lately.

Hannah Kim5 said:Of course they do. Everyone's a tough guy when they're hiding behind a screen. 😁

That is so true!

Hannah Kim5 said:Personally, I find it more depressing than funny, especially since there isn't even 2% actual humor in those garbage shows.

Look, I don't really care what you think about my take on it. I'm just telling you how it is. When you see it live, it’s actually alright; you don't deal with all that nonsense when you're right there in the room.

briskwalker10 said:Well, fine. At the end of the day—it’s just about people being able to actually relax... 🙂

As for the music—we've already had two people chime in saying it wasn't even loud at all...

It was mostly pop hits. You know, the kind of stuff you'd hear playing on KIIS FM or maybe some Top 40 station. But he’s more of a country music guy myself.

I know exactly what you’re getting at. I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with some pretty clueless people myself, too. Honestly, though, I think he’s just playing along with the joke. He’s actually a decent guy, and if you look closely, things haven't been easy for him lately. In fact, if everything I’ve read about his life is true, they really ought to make a movie about him. I have to say, I’m a bit tired of seeing nothing but strong female leads in movies lately; I think it’s about time we got a compelling male protagonist back on screen for a change.

briskwalker10 said:Can someone give me the play-by-play? How did everyone actually meet up... how did you recognize one another... did people actually chill out quickly, or was it awkward? Also—did anyone get a little too tipsy? I'm curious about what kind of stuff was being talked about...

I didn't make it over until later, so I can't really answer every single one of those questions.

Everyone was incredibly laid back. We spent most of the time playfully gossiping about other members on the forum. We'll definitely have to pick this up again next time.

My only real concern is what we're going to do about Eric Ramos93. The man honestly cannot handle more than an hour of good music before he's reached his limit.

The atmosphere here is absolutely wonderful. But honestly, I think we’ve actually checked this spot out before. Life is far too short to keep revisiting the same places when there are so many incredible coffee shops left to discover.

It's a shame you enjoy going out, because I represent the exact opposite philosophy. We aren't going to see eye to eye on this one.

Come on, get a grip. I actually came here hoping to meet some of the interesting people I’ve been reading about.

Hannah Kim5 said:🎉 Reddit Come on, I'm crossing my fingers that you actually fall in love. 🙂

Donna, you should definitely come along next time. It’s honestly a blast. Since your ex-husband was part of the group too, I really think he’s moved on and found someone new (just not me!). Men just seem to bounce back so much faster than we do sometimes.

Alexander Adams94 said:Way to go, Donna. Dealing with a group of nine isn't really my style, but it was great watching you step up and hold your own with such a brand-new crew. It’s especially impressive since most of them are flying solo right now, just hoping they can build something meaningful alongside you.

You were probably just watching this from the sidelines. I don't really get the whole "nine people isn't my thing" attitude—that feels a bit pointless to me. Personally, I love being out there, meeting people and socializing.

I don't need "something," I need the whole experience.

Just wanted to check in and say hi. Honestly, the whole thing was such a blast, and I’m happy to report that a good chunk of the crew ended up hanging out long after things wrapped up.

I’m going to be running a little late, just a heads-up. I mentioned this earlier, but I'll see you all there soon enough.

Not at all! I’m running a little behind schedule myself, so I probably won't be able to jump in for another hour or so. If you guys have a solid internet connection, please reach out here so we can stay in touch in case I miss anything you say.
