Brian Hayes43 said:I hear you loud and clear. It’s tough to find your momentum when you're flying solo, but things are finally starting to move. I needed that dose of blunt reality rather than some sugar-coated version of the truth. Thanks for having my back.

I guess there's a little bit of everything here—emojis, applause, and even some debate over which kind of pain is more productive.
Best of luck to everyone out there.

And one more thing... you aren't solo. Not ever.
Willpower is the only metric that matters. We only truly lose what we choose to let go of.
Surround yourself with people who will help rebuild that drive when yours runs dry.😉

First off—thanks.
It takes guts to be this transparent about who you are. It isn’t even about being recognized; it’s because telling your own story is a necessary step toward facing yourself and the internal chaos we all deal with.

Second—you’re smart, articulate, emotionally intelligent, literate, and above all, a decent guy. I don't see what's stopping you from moving forward.

Third—actually, I do see it. Your self-confidence is shot. Take a look around and list the people whose opinions actually matter to you.
The voices on the radio, the internet, Twitter? Do you honestly think any of them are "better" than you? Are they important enough to ruin your life over their opinions? None of them have ever paid your bills or cared about your well-being. They aren't factors in your life.

Fourth—getting kicked to the curb is progress. If they walked away, just tell them thanks.
