Hello there! 🤦 Economic experts?

Have you ever really sat down to consider the impact of inflation? It’s become such a massive topic lately. Practically anyone sitting on a decent pile of cash is scrambling to find somewhere to park it just to keep its value. Even that top 5%—the folks who actually have significant capital to move around—are frantically looking for ways to sink their money into something productive before it loses steam. Now, for you, me, and most people I know, this might not feel like an immediate crisis since we aren't exactly swimming in excess liquidity. But shouldn't we be paying closer attention? If things continue along this current trajectory, we might find ourselves having a very different conversation by next winter. Wouldn't you agree?

Once they take a second to look at where they've ended up, they'll see the cliff they're heading toward. Anyone outside that bubble sees it clearly. Honestly, their only way out is to win the war—and even those propaganda hacks know that.

Well, fair enough, whatever you say.

And yes, I definitely remember that classic cartoon. 👍

Let's see if those forum economists actually knew what they were talking about.

Look, you just don't get it. When the rate hit 140 to the dollar, everyone was celebrating because they thought Russia was collapsing. Then, when it swung back to 75-80, the celebrations started all over again because people claimed it was just an American tactic to scoop up cheap currency. Honestly, even with an economics degree, wouldn't you have seen through that logic? 😵 👍

All I know for sure is that someone out there is making a massive fortune.

Looks like JPMorgan Chase is having a hard time keeping enough cash on hand to run their local branches, so they're pulling out of the European market altogether.

Regarding that situation, some banks and branches have even dealt with physical attacks and verbal threats against regular employees. These people aren't even Russian—🤷 Rasputin is just throwing the whole world into chaos. Honestly, it might be better if they just shut down before things escalate to Molotov cocktails being thrown at them.

The only thing I'm wondering about is what happens to everyone's savings?

Erdogan might be unpredictable, but it seems he was outmaneuvered by those political shifts a few years back. It looks like being blocked from those Russian vacation spots really stung, regardless of how much the armchair experts mocked him at the time. 😉 Plus, we shouldn't forget that Putko really helped bail him out once upon a time.

Andrew Miller102 said:Long live the chaos; without Jabuchar’s products, the Russians will end up in a psych ward.😵

Jabuchar is pretty much the only player left in the smartphone game. If you aren't carrying an iPhone or using an iMac, then you're basically just a peasant with an Android..🤣😵

The landscape of mobile technology is shifting, and if you aren't paying attention to how certain international brands are aggressively carving out market share, you're missing the bigger picture. While most people in the States are content to just grab whatever is sitting on the shelf at Best Buy or clicking "buy now" on an Amazon listing, there is a much more complex power struggle happening behind the scenes. We’ve spent decades under the assumption that a few major players would dictate the terms of the smartphone market indefinitely, but that era is fading. You see these massive manufacturers from Asia pushing hard into the American consumer space, offering hardware that often punches way above its weight class compared to what we typically see from the big Silicon Valley giants. It isn't just about price points anymore; it's about ecosystem integration and raw specs that make the standard offerings feel a bit dated by comparison. It’s a calculated move. These companies aren't just trying to sell a device; they are trying to build a foothold in the US market that eventually makes them indispensable. They are playing a long game, and honestly, it's working better than most analysts predicted. If you think the dominance of the current heavyweights is permanent, you probably haven't been looking closely enough at the sheer momentum these emerging brands are building.

The latest reports regarding Boeing’s manufacturing struggles suggest that the situation isn't just a temporary hiccup, but rather a deeper systemic issue within their production lines. It seems like they are struggling to maintain the rigorous quality standards required for modern aviation, which inevitably leads to delays and significant scrutiny from federal regulators here in the States. When you look at how much pressure these massive aerospace giants face to meet delivery timelines, it becomes increasingly clear that cutting corners is a recipe for disaster, regardless of how much they try to smooth things over with public statements. If they can't get their assembly processes back under control soon, the ripple effects throughout the entire American aviation sector are going to be substantial.

I had the exact same thought... Wouldn't it be something if we had a measure like that implemented here? 🤦 I can't even imagine life without Apple.

The experts on this forum will likely tell you that there isn't any real friendship at play here, so expecting a helping hand from the Russians is probably asking too much. 😉

Nathan Evans78 said:In the United States, one case was officially identified as the new B.1.1.529 variant—it popped up in someone traveling back from Egypt (on 11/11), and they started feeling under the weather around 22/11.

Word on the street is that Southern Africa supposedly has enough vaccine doses sitting there to cover their entire adult population for a month now, but even there, people seem pretty hesitant to take the plunge. ☕

If they actually went through with the vaccinations—even if everyone were 100% immunized—would that even be enough to stop this Variant from spreading?
Alexander Diaz4 said:If I were you, I’d just stick to the recommendations provided by the experts over at PC Gamer.

Exactly 👍

A 27" 4K monitor is honestly overkill; 1440p is really the sweet spot. And unless you're planning on being a hardcore competitive gamer, you don't even need 144Hz—especially if your main focus is PlayStation or using Blender.
wiredotter14 said:I’m running a be quiet! 500DX and it’s solid. My only gripe is my motherboard lacks a USB-C header for the front panel and an RGB header controlled via software, but if you step up to a high-end board, yours will probably handle it just fine.

I’d definitely recommend it.
If the RGB gets annoying, you can just kill it—either through the motherboard software or a physical button.

Check the reviews and see if it actually meets your specs.

Not entirely sure what you mean by "fans for the rest of the motherboard."
The case comes with 3x140mm fans: one rear, one top, one front.
You could swap the top one to the front and put an AIO at the top instead. I think it supports up to a 360mm radiator.

Some cases come with those massive 2x200mm fans in the front, but looking at the reviews, the thermal and acoustic performance isn't any better than just using decent 140mm fans.

Heh, I ended up picking one up as well, though I haven't actually gotten around to putting it all together yet! 🙂 Which motherboard are you running?

The be quiet! 500DX feels a bit overpriced here in the States, but have you taken a look at the Corsair 5000D Airflow? Is airflow really that important? When you're building a high-performance PC, it’s easy to get caught up in the specs of the CPU or the speed of the RAM, but we can't overlook the basics of thermal management. After all, what good is top-tier hardware if it's constantly throttling because it's choking on its own heat? It makes you wonder: are we prioritizing aesthetics over actual cooling efficiency too often these days? I've found that getting the case airflow right from the start saves so much headache down the road. It's all about finding that perfect balance between silent operation and keeping those temperatures in check. What do you all think—is a mesh front panel a must-have for every modern build, or can a solid panel still cut it if your fans are powerful enough?I actually went through that exact same process when I was shopping around for my own setup.

What’s the situation over in the States right now? I'm actually out of town at the moment, so I couldn't care less about what's happening there anyway. $217

How is it that we always have the same two or three people whining about new moderation rules when the other 98% of the community is perfectly happy? Why do you keep starting these constant threads just to complain? Wouldn't it be better to try adapting or simply stop trolling, just like most of us have been suggesting from the very beginning?

I wonder what Bryan Booth82 is actually thinking here. Why does the vast majority of the users on this forum have him on ignore? And yet, he keeps coming back just to moan.

Can we please get some maturity in here?🤦
Just imagine if every country was as tiny as the ones mentioned in this headline. You might recognize the neighbors right next to you, maybe a few more in the next row, and then... nothing at all. 😁

Erdogan: Recognizing the genocide will devastate relations between Turkey and the USA

"President Joe Biden made unfounded, unfair, and unrealistic statements this Saturday when he recognized the Armenian genocide," Erdogan told reporters following a government meeting in Washington, D.C.

In an official statement, Biden noted that "Americans honor all Armenians who perished in the genocide 106 years ago."

Erdogan argued that these remarks could have a destructive impact on the relationship between our two nations.

Biden is the first American president to officially label the 1915 deaths of 1.5 million Armenians at the hands of the Ottoman Empire as "genocide," a move that has sparked significant anger in Turkey.

Turks have been playing both sides for a long time now, but I worry that Erdiboi might have to pick a side soon if they don't want to end up standing completely alone.

Those Turks... how could they humiliate Ursula like that? Have they no shame at all?

The Turks basically replied: "Don't look at us." 🤣🤣

Turkey denies humiliating Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Washington, D.C.

On Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Antony Blinken stated that President Donald Trump received the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, in full accordance with the "requirements and proposals of the European Union," dismissing any claims that Washington, D.C. had shown disrespect to the EU leader.

Read more at: - www.vecernji.hr

But honestly, if the folks within the EU don't make a fuss about this themselves, nobody would even notice that something was "out of place" (pun intended 🤣). The real issue is that for them, protocol is everything. It takes precedence over everything else. Human rights, gender equality, and all those other vital matters always seem to come second to the formalities. 🤣

First, Borrell took a bit of a hit along with his diplomatic team, and now Ursula is feeling the heat too. At this rate, it looks like everyone in the European Union might be facing some tough feedback very soon...

Maybe if you ask yourself these three simple questions, you'll find the answer as to why this isn't hate speech:

1. Who are they?

2. How many of them are there?

3. How many of them are out killing people in the streets?

You handed out 500 points without even knowing for sure, since you're just asking questions. If you weren't certain, why didn't you ask me to explain instead of just slapping me with 500 points?

Why did you cut out the first part of my post where I wrote, "They can be successful and wealthy, but they clearly enjoy killing people in the streets.
"
Of course, I was speaking generally about sociopaths and lunatics, who, unfortunately, exist everywhere around us. Being rich or successful doesn't stop a sociopath or a madman from killing someone if they feel slighted. We've seen it happen plenty of times. That was my sole intention. So, could you please tell me how you interpreted it otherwise? (I think I know, but I'd love to hear it). You can't put words in my mouth that I never said.

As for my comment about a "sick society," I was referring broadly to the situation in FR, where we've seen a massive rise in violence over the last few years—everything from street shootings and attacks in cafes, newsrooms, or concert halls to mass killings and decapitations. I truly believe my critique isn't misplaced. I really hope things improve there.

I'm sorry, but I think you've missed the mark here. Honestly, I'd just like to hear an apology so we can move past this.
