After watching "Go Minister," I honestly had to shut everything off; I just couldn't bear to sit through any more of that nonsense.

Matthew Young35 said:Exactly. This whole mobile tracking thing is pure idiocy, especially once word gets out that they're monitoring phones.
On top of that, a huge number of people (myself included) use prepaid cards, so the authorities don't even know who the actual owner is.
A completely senseless measure.
If they really want to track people, they should just give those ordered into isolation an electronic bracelet and call it a day.
Whatever method they choose, it has to actually work... and tracking cell phones isn't the answer.

I mean, there's just no way Smith pulls more than 10-15% at most.

I generally have little patience for those who whine about everything being broken yet refuse to actually vote—but between these two candidates, there truly isn't another option. Or, one could simply spoil the ballot.
In case anyone missed it—yet again—we just witnessed another election where the Republican Party and the Democratic Party walked away with the lion's share of the votes. Is anyone actually surprised? 🙏 ☕
I was watching some political talk show recently—can't recall the network, maybe CNN or something similar—hosted by a woman with short hair. Honestly, who exactly is entitled to a vote these days? 🤣
Maybe we should implement a psychological evaluation before anyone even thinks about stepping foot on the ballot? Just a thought—but wouldn't that be more sensible?

It’s honestly exhausting, dear me.
They say they want rock 'n roll.
But they want the grit, while I...
I just want some classic Chuck Berry.

This tension seems to exist within almost every institutional religion, though it feels most acute in this particular one, given how intensely centralized and organized it truly is.
What kind of genuine "process" can actually exist, let alone be necessary, when every detail regarding your life and the universe has already been mapped out through rigid dogma and divine commandments?
One could certainly spend a lifetime agonizing over the logical inconsistencies baked into the doctrine—things like original sin, purgatory, the Holy Trinity, the glaring contradictions between the Old and New Testaments, or those various strange heresies that crop up. But is that really spirituality? To me, it looks more like a quasi-intellectual struggle with impossible puzzles; it’s a series of illogical acrobatics originally engineered for the political agendas of the era, which are now served up to modern believers as profound metaphysical truths that supposedly require deep study and intense immersion just to grasp.
On a side note, I have to hand it to the Catholic Church; it is a masterclass in utility for the ruling classes, providing a toolkit for just about any scenario. It serves dictators and democrats alike, extremists and traditionalists with equal efficacy. It’s a perfect blend, featuring the institution of confession as a sort of "cheat code" for an endless number of lives in a game where the ultimate prize is eternal life. Perhaps we should have seen that coming. It explains quite well why they’ve managed to endure for so long.
