Feel free to type away about whatever if you're bored😛

Until Jan 15th.

Midweek works fine for me, though I'm open to the weekend too.

Let the majority decide. 😛

Carl Rivera43 said:Well, I'll probably catch a glimpse of it sometime next week. Maybe we could aim for an earlier slot? Somewhere around 5:30, 6:00, or maybe even 7:00 in the evening... something like that.

Got it, I'll keep an eye out. 😛

Glad to hear it.

I hope you can get something else on the calendar soon. 🙂

Carl Rivera43 said:There were five of us guys and four ladies, just a great group. I ended up hanging out until about 11 PM.

That sounds fine, not too much. Who else showed up?

So, how did it go?🍿

Was it pretty crowded?

Adam Hughes60 said:Spot on. Honestly, the people labeled as "crazy" around here seem way more grounded than the ones who are supposed to be the "sane" ones over there.

As for ice skating, we can just figure out who’s down whenever we all hang out. For the first time, though, I've got a feeling nobody's actually going to show up—or who knows. Personally? Count me out.

Maybe we could combine hanging out with some skating if anyone is up for it.

Just a suggestion, though. I’ll respect whatever the majority decides. 🙂

Carl Rivera43 said:Raymond Adams3....so, let's take it easy.....I mean, if you're down, just let me know which workday works best for us to mix things up.....we can nail down the actual plans around Monday...especially since we're expecting some nice weather and maybe even an extra +8 degrees for a little stroll.. one step at a time.

It isn't cold. 😛Actually, it sounds good, provided there's a heads-up since the weather can be unpredictable. But if it happens, I'm happy to come.👍

Adam Hughes60 said:I don't think there are any skaters over here; that's happening over in the USA. Why don't you just join them if that's more your speed?

Who says I'm even a skater? 😁

Let's go Falling together 😁

I don't know, I just tend to trust the people in this group more. They seem a lot more grounded than folks elsewhere.😛

It might sound a little silly, but this late hour just doesn't work for me. If you guys end up doing something earlier—maybe some ice skating or something similar—count me in. I'm down. 😛

Gerald Jackson48 said:Sure, they are people. But they're people who made a conscious choice to break the law and screw over everyone else just to line their own pockets. I mean, there might be a few exceptions where people do it for some "greater good," but then we can argue about what those goals actually are.

Generally speaking, the person running a factory isn't the one writing the legislation—unless you're looking at a totalitarian regime, and even then, it's not a guarantee. You can wreck a business by breaking the law, or just by being an absolute disaster at management without breaking any rules at all.

At the end of the day, I'd rather see ten criminals and one innocent person behind bars than the other way around. It’s harsh, but that’s just how it works.

So, being an idiot is always acceptable? Even if it means driving dozens of families straight into poverty?

Sam Martinez9 said:That’s a sharp definition.

Now, certain criminals certainly belong behind bars. But others? Those who break the status quo and defy the social norms that hold progress back—those are the people who actually deserve a reward.

And criminals are human beings too!

I’ve met people involved in crime who became dear friends, and it makes you realize they’re just regular people.

Unfortunately, laws are written by those in power, and it’s naive to expect them to write anything against their own interests. How do you define someone in a small town who intentionally guts a local factory and leaves dozens of families out on the street?

I won't ramble too much since writing isn't really my thing 😛

I read somewhere on here that regardless of what you do for a living or who you are, if my description hits home even a little bit—reach out.

I'm a bit of an oddball in my late twenties. I value peace and quiet; just being left alone to enjoy a walk along the river to clear my head. I actually enjoy those romantic walks and watching the sunset, too. I like biking, and I tend to get a bit carried away with overanalyzing everything and philosophizing 😁

But I'm not all boring; I also have a thing for more "high-octane" stuff, like skydiving, hitting the mountains when there's snow and ice, or exploring deep-sea wrecks and history underwater. And yeah, I love that adrenaline rush when you floor it and watch the speedometer climb... before settling back down into "old man mode" :P

If you think we might click, send me a message—I’d enjoy chatting. If you see yourself in any of this and want to try some new adventures together, definitely reach out!

Looks like I've found something similar over here. If this resonates with anyone, welcome to the club. 🙂

I'm dropping a link to the post I wrote below.
